Retired where?
*Back story: 3 hours earlier, the entertainment fell through for my best friend's 1st Banquet with her new Christian school of the arts. Part-way through the year, she took over teaching the entire Dance Dept, choreography for the Theater Dept, AND lead her scholars to 1ST PLACE at Regional competition and 2ND PLACE at State competition! Them babies WORKED and she obviously wanted to give them the evening they deserved and earned. So when she called me in a slight frenzy to regroup, the first words I said were, " Ok. What I'm singing, friend?"
So, I give you Rise Up by Andra Day. I know it isn't perfect, but no one is. Enjoy, and continue to rise 💙
