Using Matrix SuperSync shades 7N for the roots (gave the base color a slight shift), 9GV + 11GV for the mid shaft and ends, and 10vol for the developer.

Copper for fall anyone?

Using Matrix SuperSync shades to create this look. We added more highlights to raise some brighter pieces for the copper melt.

This is how I set natural curls for that soft, whimsical finish.

The key is gathering the hair and allowing it to follow the curl’s natural direction. That’s what helps create the shape and movement in the finished look.

I chose larger sections for this because of the density of the hair. If the density were higher, I’d work with smaller sections to make sure each curl has room to form.

For drying, you can diffuse, sit under a hooded dryer, or use a combination of both. One of my favorite methods is allowing the hair to get about 80% dry under the hooded dryer, then opening up the curls and diffusing the rest.

I think of this as an elevated wash n go—same concept, just a little more intentional with the curl placement.
