A few words to get started: Tupperware, Avon, Mary Kay. We all know and trust these companies, right? They’re all MLMs. Did you know MLM stands for Multi-Level Marketing, that means you can work your way to any income you desire without “boss” approval?
You get paid on what you sell, who you recruit, and what they sell!
But you’re never blocked from making more than the person who recruited you. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

With pyramid schemes, you can’t make more than the person you sign under. That’s the main difference. Other differences include: fake/faulty products (MLMs have legitimate products); and pyramid schemes are illegal, while MLMs are not.⁣

I haven’t found any smoke & mirrors, just lack of understanding.

For example, Monat can’t claim that our oil heals medical conditions bc it’s not medication. I’ve heard, “Did you know Monat isn’t FDA regulated?” Yes bc cosmetics are not FDA regulated if you don’t eat them & they don’t have drugs in them.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
