Bloom Beyond Endo
A positive community for people with endometriosis to bloom beyond their limits. Run by a scientist endo warrior
Shopping while hungry is a good reminder of how much blood sugar drives decision-making.
Cravings aren’t a lack of discipline. They’re a physiological signal. Listen to your body!
Blood sugar stability affects energy, mood, and hormone signaling….and big sugar spikes are often what lead to the “food coma” feeling later.
I’m not avoiding carbs.
I’m thinking about how to support the glucose response.
I noticed Sugar Kick at Whole Foods: an apple cider vinegar–based option designed to be taken before heavy meals to support sugar spikes.

Blood sugar matters — and not just for people with diabetes.
Learning how blood sugar affects the nervous system, hormones, and inflammation completely changed how I approach food. One of the biggest shifts for me was realizing I needed balanced meals that have protein and fats and not just “naked carbs” as says! That insight alone made a noticeable difference in my mood, energy, and symptom flares.
For those with endometriosis, blood sugar stability can be a missing foundation, especially during hormonally sensitive times.
One supportive tool I personally use before meals (especially when eating out) is Sugar Kick by , which helps support steadier post-meal energy and avoid food comas or crashes.

This is not medical advice — just education and personal experience.
Question for you:
Have you noticed a difference when you pair carbs with protein or fat instead of eating them alone? Let me know in the comments!

Love my Digestive Bitters from . I take a dropper before eating out because it helps me get into “digest mode” and keeps bloating more manageable. With endo, my digestion is extra sensitive, so giving my gut that little nudge before a meal makes a real difference in how I feel the rest of the night.
If you deal with endo belly or post-meal swelling, bitters are such an underrated tool for supporting gut motility and stomach acid signaling.

Most people with endometriosis are never told that low-dose naltrexone (LDN) is an option…I certainly wasn’t. I only learned about it after seeing a functional health provider, and it ended up making a huge difference in my inflammation, sleep, anxiety levels, skin, digestion, and post-surgical healing.
LDN isn’t a pain medication or a hormone treatment. It’s a micro-dose version of a medication that gently supports the immune system, calms inflammation, and helps the body heal with less “stickiness” which matters a lot for those of us prone to adhesions.
My goal with this carousel is simple:
To help you learn about an option I wish someone had told me about sooner.
If you deal with autoimmune symptoms, endo flares, chronic inflammation, or trouble healing after surgery, ask your provider whether LDN is appropriate for your case.
Advocating for yourself isn’t pushy…it’s necessary. 💛
Save this for your next appointment, or share with someone who needs more tools in their healing toolkit.

When gut issues show up as anything but gut-related, it’s easy to miss the real cause.
For me, H. pylori was the hidden trigger behind weight gain, sugar cravings, insomnia, and anxiety. I only found out after getting a GI-MAP test through the gut healing program at RHM Gynecology, which helped me finally get to the root and start true healing.
If you’ve been struggling with unexplained fatigue, digestion issues, or hormone imbalances…
👉 Have you been tested for H. pylori?

Moxa is an amazing tool for endo patients! 🌿✨
I’m so grateful for this collaboration with , who shared her expertise and allowed us to capture her applying moxa in session.
Did you know that each organ has its own meridian in the body? 🌸
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, endometriosis is often understood as a condition involving stagnation of both Qi (energy) and Blood — meaning that circulation and energy flow aren’t moving as they should.
What makes moxa so special is that it’s believed to help move both Qi and Blood, which is highly valued in TCM practice. By gently warming key meridians, it supports smoother flow, eases pain, and helps restore the body’s natural balance. 💕
While rooted in ancient practice, modern research also suggests that moxibustion can promote circulation and relaxation — offering a bridge between traditional wisdom and holistic wellness.
