My patient came in to see me with a regional contraindication. That simply means I had to work around her injured area. The first picture is a month after her accident. The second picture is one week after using Cocononi! Everyone who knows me personally, knows by now how obsessed I am with this product. After 17 years of being a massage therapist and working with all kinds of oils and lotions and creams, I have never experienced anything like this! I love this stuff and now you can see why.

If you desire to be healthy, know what gets you excited. Finding your motivation is key number one. I’ve been wanting to get back into juicing but lacked the motivation. Bringing home this beautiful, one of a kind cutting board was so fun and exciting for me. I listened to my praise worship music and really enjoyed myself. And now I get to drink healthy juice that is fresh from the farmer’s market. Sometimes life is just good. ’s

One of the things people may not think about in the day of the life of a massage therapist, is how often we are washing our hands all the way up and over the elbows. I met Mike with Island Mike’s Body Products at the Ormond Beach Farmer’s Market. And it’s been the start of a fun business relationship. Not only does he make a variety of great soaps but he also built me personalized dishes to put them. I love them and there will be some more fun things coming my way I can’t wait to show you!

When my son was in the hospital, Bonnie generously sent my family a batch of her salves and ccocononi oil. Well both Ethan and I fell in love! So I reached out and ordered some first aid kits to try and sell at my massage office. Didn’t realize how quickly they would sell out!!! I’m ordering more and looking forward to working with this amazing and very therapeutic oil.

Just an unfiltered picture of me after running 6 miles this morning. I wanted to share some thoughts with you:
#1 Nothing has a greater effect on our lives than the people we chose to hang around. My sister in law, Shelley, told me that I had a strong enough base to go ahead and run 10 miles. I never would have even tried it yesterday had she not given me that confidence. I am where I am today because I am blessed to be surrounded by so many positive influences.
#2 Nobody grows without resistance and struggles. We seek comfort but was never meant to live in it all the time. And we know this because our bodies become weak when life gets too easy. Be willing to stress your body. Push it where it actually becomes uncomfortable and do that over and over. You will become stronger and healthier.
#3 We are all able to do more than we think. As I have been building distance with my running I use landmarks to keep track of my miles. On my way back today I couldn’t help but smile as I was passing by what USED to be my limit. There was a time when I believed I would never be able to run again after some injuries. But here I am doing the very thing I almost gave up on.
#4 Working hard it never pretty. When I am done, I am sweaty, smelly and wind blown. But that’s okay because I know how to clean up! Life is messy and when we do the hard stuff anyways, we reap such a great reward.
