As the number of Covid-19 cases in Florida continues to surge, we at Deja Blue Salon are doing everything we can to help stop the spread. Here is an overview of the policies we’ve implemented to ensure the health and wellbeing of our clients and stylists:

Before your appointment:

Stay in your car and text your stylist when you arrive. They will let you know when you can enter the salon.
Bring the essentials only: keys, phone, wallet.
No guests may accompany you.
Put on a face mask before entering (we’ll provide a mask for anyone who needs it).
Use hand sanitizer upon entering (we’ll provide that).
We offer contactless temperature checks.

During your appointment:

Masks must be kept on the entire time you’re in the salon – don’t worry, we’ve perfected cutting and coloring with a mask on.
Try to limit talking while getting shampooed.
Some stylist are skipping blowdrys currently.
We offer contactless payment (Venmo, Zelle) for anyone who prefers it.
We are not offering any drinks or snacks at this time.

Cleaning between appointments:

Chairs, shampoo bowls and dryers are sanitized before and after each client.
Each client will receive a clean cutting cape/gown.

*IF YOU HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID OR HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO ANYONE WITH COVID IN THE LAST 14 DAYS (OR ARE EXPERIENCING ANY SYMPTOMS) PLEASE DO NOT COME IN! We promise, we will get you rescheduled as soon as it’s safe for you to come in. Please know that we DO WANT your business, but we have a duty to protect everyone’s health.

Why so many rules? A few reasons:

Some of our clients and staff are immunocompromised. No highlights are worth a life!
The faster this pandemic is under control, the faster that normal life can resume. We’re trying to do our part to make that happen!
If someone gets sick, we have to temporarily shut down and push back EVERYBODY’S appointments. And no one wants that!

During this time, businesses have a responsibility to protect their clientele and set an example for the community – and that’s what we’re aiming to do. We appreciate the cooperation and welcome any feedback on how we can make these procedures even better!
