With 30+ years behind the chair, Dorothy brings plenty of experience, personality, and laughter to Salty Hair Studio. ✨ For her, doing hair is just as much about connecting with her clients and enjoying the conversation as it is about making them feel beautiful.

MEET JULIA 💜

With 40 fabulous years behind the chair, Julia brings a lifetime of experience, passion, and love for hair to Salty Hair Studio. ✨

Her journey started in San Diego, where she learned from an incredible stylist from London—which is why she says her highlighting technique is truly European. From there, she moved to Maine, built a clientele from the ground up, and even opened a day spa before eventually making her way to Florida.

For Julia, doing hair has never been just about hair. She’s loved it since childhood and feels incredibly blessed to have built a career centered around making people happy, building friendships, and creating relationships that last far beyond the salon chair. 🤍

She became a stylist because she wanted a fun career while making people feel their best — and 14 years later, she’s still doing just that. 🤍

She became a stylist for a pretty simple reason — who doesn’t want to make others feel beautiful?! 🫶
