Chemical peels start before you even step into the treatment room. And just because summer is around the corner doesn’t mean you CAN’T get a peel. But you need to be following a few rules to ensure you are going to be safe.

Preparing your skin properly helps reduce irritation, support healing, and maximize your results.
But most importantly, following the after care instructions is even more detrimental than the pre peel.

What to avoid 24 hours after a peel:

•direct sun exposure
•sweating
•working out
•saunas
•pools/beach

Believe or not - there are people who do not enjoy being at the beach, pool, or in direct sun exposure throughout the summer. If this is you then you’re a great candidate for a summer peel.

Even if a chemical peel is deemed “summer safe” a peel is still a peel and requires extra aftercare post treatment.
