Fresh manicures and pedicures often involve oils, lotions, scrubs, and soaking—all things that can either create a barrier or interrupt your even, flawless tan.

We recommend getting your nails done 24-hours BEFORE your spray tan appointment. If you have to go after, we suggest waiting until your tan is fully developed (after 24-hours and you've had your first soapy rinse) and skipping the scrubs!!

Not all body washes are spray-tan friendly! If you want your glow to last longer, avoid harsh soaps, exfoliators, sulfates, and heavy oils that can strip your tan faster. Choose some of these brands that carry gentle, hydrating body washes:

- Method
- Aveeno
- Native
- Cetaphil
- Aviva (spray-tan specific body wash sold at Summer!)

And, remember, you don't need fancy, expensive soap to maintain your spray tan. A gentle cleanser and moisturizer will do the job of making your tan last.
