The Child Advocacy Center provides a child-friendly, safe, supportive environment for child victims of abuse/neglect and their nonoffending caretakers. Having access to victim advocacy and to not have to retell their heartbreaks alone, mental health counseling and healthcare is a vital part of supporting and caring for children in our community. This is a small thing we can do to be part of a big change right here in Oswego county.

💇🏻‍♀️ Today we said good bye to our first place together and hello to our new full salon! Still have some much needed work to do, but are excited for our progress!

After two years and two months at the Riverwalk Salon suites we have decided it’s time to find a space that can accommodate our clientele, a furniture upgrade and our love for lunch eaten at a table by finding a larger space. We have enjoyed our time here and are so grateful for the opportunity we had to be the first to occupy suite 9.
As of September 1st Live to Dye will have a new location. We will let our clientele know personally prior to your appointments with a picture, address and secret knock as we are not taking any new clients at this time. Ashlee will continue business as semi-usual working out all of the kinks while Andrea will be out until October on maternity leave.
Thank you to all of our amazing clients who continue to support us and have helped make this happen. We know you’ll enjoy our new space equipped with a waiting area and maybe even a hot dog roller 😉

Thank you everyone who has supported us in our journey this far, because of you we have found our success. We would love to continue to have an awesome environment filled with lots of laughter and concerts for years to come! As everyone knows we are unable to accept new clients. Due to our client loads we can’t continually make schedule changes. With the Holidays approaching we felt it necessary to remind everyone of some important policies we have regarding appointments. September was difficult for many people adjusting to new schedules and having to change appointment days and times. We do understand that things happen outside of ones control. However, we do have to coordinate childcare and depend on our clients adhering to the schedule we set to pay for that and have time available for our clients.

We ask that all clients be sure to confirm appointments via their text reminders so we can assure you know the correct date and times. If you feel as though you are not receiving the correct reminders, please let us know. We both send out 3 prior appointment reminders, you should be getting.

Please give us 72 hours prior to appt if you absolutely have to cancel. Although emergencies happen, we are no longer squeezing clientele in, your appointment will be reschedule for 6-8 weeks out. Scheduling for us is a job of its own and is not as simple as we make it appear. We dedicate time and sacrifice sit down meals, bathroom breaks and rest for our clients. Cancelations inside that time frame will carry a $25 rescheduling fee.

During our off times (Saturday afternoon-Tuesday afternoon/evening) we will not be answering work related messages which includes rescheduling and cancelations. If we receive a cancellation during that time outside of 72 hours to your appointment you will not receive a rescheduling fee when we return the message.

There are always exceptions and we are human too, we just ask for a higher level of understanding as we move forward into our busiest season. Thank you all for understanding and we look forward to a less chaotic October!

✨Pro Tip Sunday✨

To get the most longevity out of a shoulder length textured bob haircut, cut the back a little shorter than the front . This technique allows the hair to appear one length, but prevents the back from flipping out where it relaxes across the top of the shoulders. You can also provide your client more movement in her hair from the back to the front by point cutting through the ends to blend out any blunt lines. For additional texture cut the front angles from in front of the ear forward separately and allow for a full messy, but replicable cut your client will love. Style the hair with waves by curling each section in an opposite directions as you work your way around the head. Use a light hold hair spray like the Lanza keratin oil spray and top it off with bling shine spray by style perfetto and you have yourself a well tousled shining bob.
