foil day means we got time to dish 😏😂

blonding is the foundation of a lot of my work, but the finished result isn’t always a blonde. here’s what I mean:
🌈 prep work for vivid color requires blonding beforehand for the color to be so vibrant!

🗝️ anytime I’m helping a client with grey transitioning, I have to consider what previous color they may have that I have to lift through to get their hair light enough to imitate/tone to their natural grey patterning- this can take several appointments

🧸 dimensional brunettes have had a big space in my salon! I love that I don’t have to always reach for a traditional bleach, and preserve my clients’ hair integrity with bleach alternatives (with natural hair clients)

❤️‍🔥 not all coppers/reds need lightening, actually, rarely do I bleach to achieve these tones. however, if dimension is the goal, popping a few foils in can make things more interesting

whether you’re looking to live your big boss blonde life, or our foils are a step in the direction of our end goal, my priority is always hair health, and as smooth of a growout as possible!

my job is to help you meet your hair goals. if the goal is length, let’s get rid of those scraggly bits. if length isn’t your priority, then we can do whatever keeps your hair healthy.
btw, it’s always okay to ask if we can skip a cut or check when your last one was!

my weekends start on Sundays, which means after tidying up on Saturday nights, my self care rituals begin with hair masks, a yummy dinner and rolling into Sunday to plan, travel, or snuggle with the kitties!
