Self care is so very important. You are beautifully and uniquely YOU. Take good care of yourself mentally physically and spiritually. Acts of self-care or rest, pampering, and participating in activities that improve our mood or bring us joy.

Self-love begins with the simple act of appreciating ourselves. Too often, our minds become overrun with critical mental chatter and limiting beliefs about what we are or aren’t capable of.
To practice self-love is to find that same friendly compassion for ourselves as we have for others. Self-love is learned and cultivated through daily intentional actions that support our development.

Meditation is a healthy way to fuel self-love. When we meditate we take the time to sit with our thoughts and emotions. We observe the mind’s behavior. We notice how busy the mind is, and how easily thoughts or storylines take us away from the present moment. ( Real life)

What we are cultivating when we meditate is a place beyond thought, beyond feeling, beyond bias β€” a place of comfort, calm, clarity, and compassion. A place we can always return to with self-kindness in mind.

To get start with a Self-love routine, I suggest that you identify one loving thing you can do for yourself today. It could be a supportive thought or action. Next, write down what youre going to do and when youll do it. Writing it down increases accountability and makes it more likely that youll follow through. As you add more and more loving thoughts and actions to your daily life, theyll begin to crowd out some of your self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. With practice, self-love will become second nature.

Remember Self-love is a practice, start off slow, but be consistent and dedicated. It's ok to be a little selfish sometimes!πŸ’―πŸ’•.
