It’s been more than a decade since I played with chrome stamping, and one little spark of inspiration this morning reminded me just how much I LOVE this technique.

Old-school technique. New-school products. 40 years of experience and a whole new vision. 💅🏼

🍂 Fall leaves in August? Absolutely.
🐆 Animal print? Yes.
🔥 Chrome flames? Obviously.
✨ And I’m only getting started.

Chrome stamping is fast, dramatic, salon-friendly nail art—and I have a feeling you’re going to be seeing a LOT more of it around here.

If chrome stamping isn’t trending yet… give me a minute. 😉🔥

Yesterday I was building my nail with a dual form and somehow grabbed Lucky 🍀 13 Gel Polish instead of my Universal Builder Gel – Ballerina. 🤦‍♀️

The funny part? The bottles are clearly labeled!
💎 Turquoise label = Universal Builder Gel
✨ Silver holographic label = Gel Polish

I should’ve known better… but mistakes happen, even to professionals.

The good news? I caught it, fixed it, and my nails turned out beautifully. That’s the difference experience makes—it isn’t about never making mistakes. It’s about knowing how to solve them.

After four decades behind the nail table, I’m still learning, still laughing, and still proving that perfection isn’t the goal… beautiful, long-lasting nails are. 💗

Have you ever made a simple mistake that made you laugh afterward? Tell me I’m not the only one! 😂👇

💜💚 Day 4 of “Diary of a 40-Year Nail Tech”… doing her own nails! 😂

People often ask why they don’t see more photos and videos of my own nails.

Here’s the truth…

It took me FOUR DAYS to finish one hand!

✨ Day 1: Intense cuticle treatment (ICT), also known as a Russian manicure.
✨ Day 2: I extended two nails… they looked so good I decided to extend the other four!
✨ Day 3: I spent hours creating chrome and magnetic cat-eye swatches, experimenting with color combinations.
✨ Day 4: Finally… time to film the big reveal!

Yes… I’m left-handed, so I always do my dominant hand first. Between creating products, filming tutorials, testing colors, and taking care of my wonderful clients, my own nails always seem to come last.

But I have to say… they were worth every minute.

Today’s combination is a rich purple chrome layered with Frank, my luminous green magnetic cat-eye gel. The color shifts between violet, emerald, and hints of blue depending on the light, and I can’t stop staring at it.

I’ve been creating swatches for the upcoming fall and Halloween season because, if you’re a nail tech… Halloween starts right after the Fourth of July! 🎃

Every swatch has its own personality.
Every color has its own vibe.

Today… I’m feeling green and purple. 💚💜

Now it’s time to get back behind the nail table and create some magic for my clients.

Which swatch would you choose? ✨

✨ Before chrome powder became a household name… there was MINX.

If you’ve been in the nail industry for a while, this photo probably brings back memories.

Long before mirror chrome powders, we were applying metallic vinyl nail wraps that softened with heat and molded perfectly to the nail. They looked like liquid gold and polished silver, and the shine was unlike anything we’d ever seen.

Then Beyoncé wore them on a magazine cover… and suddenly everyone wanted metallic nails.

Fast forward to today, and chrome has evolved into powders, pigments, and endless creative possibilities. But every time I create a mirror finish like this, I can’t help but smile and remember where it all began.

After 40 years behind the nail table, one thing I’ve learned is this…

✨ Great trends don’t disappear—they reinvent themselves.

Every manicure tells a story, and every trend has a history. I feel incredibly grateful to have witnessed so many of them.

Do you remember Minx Nails? I’d love to hear your memories in the comments! 💕✨

Pink had its moment… 💗
Now everyone wants BLUE. 💙

For the past three weeks, pink has been the most requested nail color in my chair. It represented softness, self-love, healing, compassion, and emotional growth.

Now that Leo season is here… something has shifted.

Every single day someone is asking for blue.

Blue carries a completely different energy. It represents peace, confidence, wisdom, trust, clarity, communication, and emotional balance. It’s calming, refreshing, and quietly powerful. Instead of asking to be noticed, blue simply attracts attention by being authentic.

Maybe that’s why so many people are choosing it right now.

Color isn’t just fashion…
Sometimes it’s exactly what your soul is craving.

Which are you choosing this season?
💗 Pink or 💙 Blue?

POV: Your nail tech understood the assignment. ✏️✨
Back-to-school season is officially here, and you already know one design makes its return every year… the iconic stiletto pencil nail! ✏️🍎

This is one of my favorite seasonal nail designs to create because it’s instantly recognizable, fun, and brings back all the excitement of a fresh notebook, sharpened pencils, and a brand-new school year.

This set combines glossy reds, oversized crystal bling, and my signature pencil stiletto for the perfect classroom-inspired look. Whether you’re a teacher, student, or just love creative nail art, this design always gets an A+ from me! ❤️✨

Which nail is your favorite—the pencil, the bling, or the classic red?

🌸 Soft Girl Era
Your softness is your superpower. 🌸✨

Somewhere along the way, many of us were taught that to succeed, we had to be louder, tougher, and harder. But real strength isn’t always loud.

Sometimes strength looks like choosing kindness.
Sometimes it looks like walking away from chaos.
Sometimes it means protecting your peace, setting healthy boundaries, and continuing to love with an open heart.

Softness isn’t weakness.
It’s confidence without arrogance.
It’s grace without apology.
It’s resilience without losing your compassion.

You can be gentle and powerful.
You can be feminine and fearless.
You can wear soft pink glitter nails and still conquer every goal you set for yourself.

Never let the world convince you that kindness is a flaw or that a gentle heart makes you less than anyone else.

Your softness is your superpower.
Protect it.
Celebrate it.
Let it shine. 🌸💖✨

If these words found you today, I hope they remind you of something you’ve always had… your softness is your superpower. 🌸✨

Some people spend a lifetime searching for the kind of love that feels like home.

You found it early.

Two young hearts choosing each other,
building a home,
sharing dreams,
and quietly creating a life that belongs only to you.

That is extraordinary.

When Sadie sat down at my nail table, she chose soft pink.

To me, pink has always been the color of hope.
Gentle.
Graceful.
Full of possibility.

May these soft pink nails remind you that hope is never loud.

It arrives in whispered prayers,
morning sunshine,
a hand held a little tighter,
and in the promise that every new season brings fresh beginnings.

Love planted the first seed.

The rest will bloom in its perfect time.

Until then,
keep laughing,
keep dreaming,
keep holding each other’s hands.

Because the greatest blessing isn’t found in perfect timing.

It’s finding your person.

And you found yours. 🤍

Congratulations on your beautiful new beginning, Sadie and Cody. May your love continue to grow with every season. 🌸✨
