Six years ago today🤍

I remember it like it was yesterday. On the first day of class, our trainer had each of us stand up and explain why we decided to become a lash artist.

When it was my turn, I said:

“Because I want to show my daughters that they can make it on their own and never feel like they have to stay somewhere they’re being mistreated. I want to inspire other women to leave toxic situations and prove that, no matter how scary it seems, they can build a life on their own.”

Looking back, I truly believe that wasn’t just a goal—it was part of my purpose.

This class became a turning point in my life and my career.

Despite what people say about the beauty industry—that “it’s not a real job” or “you can’t make a living doing lashes”—this career became the vehicle that carried me through my single-mom season. It allowed me to provide for my daughters without a dollar of child support or financial support from anyone.

It gave me freedom. It gave me confidence. And it gave me the ability to build a life I never thought was possible.

Today, my purpose feels bigger than just creating beautiful lashes. It’s showing women that financial independence creates options, and options can change the course of your life. If sharing my story gives even one woman the courage to leave a toxic situation or believe she can make it on her own, then every hard season was worth it.

I get asked all the time if I do natural lash sets… and the answer is yes, absolutely.

For this set I used a doll eye mapping, which places the longest lengths through the center of the eye rather than the outer corner.

This technique helps:
• open the eyes
• create a brighter, more awake look
• enhance the natural shape without pulling the eye downward

By focusing the length in the center, we’re able to create a soft, lifted effect while still protecting the weaker outer corner lashes.

Wispy lashes & different curls are used to create dimension, texture, and softness in a lash set instead of having every lash the exact same length which is often times referred to as the “caterpillar look.”

Every set is customized based on the client’s eye shape and natural lash health to create the most flattering result.

Starting January 6, I’ll be beginning school, which means my availability will be more limited moving forward. To ensure you always have the day and time you prefer, I highly recommend setting up a recurring appointment if possible.

Cancellation Policy Update (Effective 2026):
Due to limited availability, last-minute cancellations will be strictly enforced. When an appointment is canceled late, that time cannot be filled by another client.
• A cancellation fee will apply
• Cards on file will be required
• Unpaid fees must be resolved prior to your next appointment

Please note: last-minute cancellations may result in limited availability for rebooking, potentially up to two weeks out, and may require an extended fill.

I will not be offering appointments outside of my scheduled work hours. Any exceptions will incur an additional fee.

Wrapping technique is where we wrap the base of the extension around the natural lash instead of placing directly on top or underneath the natural lash. Snatched bases + perfectly wrap= elite retention🤌🏻
