I wanted to give you a quick heads up that I will be out of the salon the week before the 4th of July. Because of this, appointment availability leading up to that week will be more limited than usual.

A lash tint and a brow stain is perfect for the blonde girls that want to feel more put together without makeup.
The lash tint makes the biggest difference on lighter lashes. If you have dark lashes, we can still tint them, but I recommend a lift too to really see a difference.
The brow stain gives that filled in look without the hassle of filling them in every day. The darker you go at the initial appointment, the longer it lasts. ✨

If you’re scheduling a sugaring appointment before swimming, beach trips, vacations, or long days in the sun, it’s best to book your appointment at least 2–3 days beforehand.
Why?
• Freshly sugared skin is more sensitive and vulnerable to irritation
• Chlorine, salt water, sweat, and sun exposure can increase redness or sensitivity
• Giving your skin a couple of days to calm down helps reduce the chance of irritation, bumps, or ingrown hairs
Prebooking ahead of vacations and holiday weekends is always recommended since appointments tend to fill quickly this time of year!

I got some coloring books, crayons, and finally starting a little book collection for those who need to bring kids to your appointments!
Ideally not for longer appointments or for facials so you can truly relax but if need be - maybe this can keep them occupied for a little bit!
Especially for sugaring appointments that are quick. I may or may not be coloring in between appointments now too…
1. I used to not wear spf everyday but it really is the first and easiest step you can take to protect your skin and prevent damage. My favorite currently is the Cerave Tinted SPF in the shade medium.
2. I used to be a picker even though I know better so I tell my clients - I highly recommend not BUT if you’re going to pick, at least make sure your hands and face are both clean.
3. Acne products have their place but they can absolutely impair your skins barrier. When I began focusing on hydration and gentle cleansing instead of too many scrubs, my acne improved tremendously.
4. Not having breaks makes the day go by fast for me but I will not feel my best if I don’t eat and drink enough water! Hydration is so good for your skin too, it is our largest organ.
5. I have done this only once or twice in my 5.5 years of being an esthetician and it’s the worst feeling in the world.
