If you have sensitive or dry skin and notice red welts or even little tiny red dots after any wax like in this after photo, don’t worry. It’s a Histamine reaction!

Histamine is the compound of immune and neurological systems that is found all throughout the cells in your body. Histamine induces red coloring on the skin and swelling. Waxing is a superficial trauma in which the Histamines boost blood flow to the waxed area in which creates inflammation. This period of time can range 24-48 hours post wax.

Here’s what you can do at home🏡
•Keep area clean and sweat free, sweat can cause bacteria in the hair follicle in which can turn your Histamine reaction to an infection!
•Doing a combination of Witch Hazel and Benedryl/Benedryl cream or a Hydrocortisone cream, will be your bestfriend during this time!
