From box-dye red ➝ bright, dimensional blonde 🤯

This one was a PROCESS.

She came to me after years of red box dye + using color remover at home to start fading it out, with the ultimate goal of getting back to a bright, icy blonde.

We knew going into it that hair history like this means we’re working with what the hair gives us — not forcing it just to hit a certain shade.

For 3.5 hours, I foiled, checked, pulled foils, re-foiled, checked again… basically played musical chairs with foils 😂 all while protecting the integrity of her hair…..

Actually, her hair felt better after, than it did before coming in🤩

We ended up meeting right in the middle of her two inspo photos: bright blonde, soft dimension, and a subtle root melt for a more forgiving grow-out.

And THIS was session one. 👏🏼

Going blonde after box dye isn’t always a one-appointment transformation, but when the first session looks this good… I’ll take it. 🤍
