I have not always been a wellness nail technician.
There was a time when my life revolved around communications at Verizon in New York City. On September 11, 2001, I stood on the roof with my coworkers in complete disbelief, trying to understand what was happening before our eyes.
Twenty-five years later, that day remains etched in my memory.
My work looks different now, but the value I place on care, service, community and human connection has never left me.
Today, I remember the lives lost, the families forever changed and everyone who answered the call to serve.
We will never forget. 🤍
