✨ THEY DROPPED TODAY! ✨

The new Innersense Organic Beauty holiday value sets are here—and think holiday gifting… or better yet, gift one + give one. šŸŽšŸ¤ Because maybe someone on your list needs a little extra care this season—and maybe you do too.

I couldn’t pick just one, so here are TWO of my favorites:

✨ Replenish + Restore — featuring the NEW Overnight Repair Serum (which I think is absolutely delightful!) + the Body Butter. Basically, a little nighttime ritual for your hair AND you.

✨ The Mask Trio — Detox Hair Mask + Repair Mask + Hydrating Mask. Three different ways to give your hair exactly what it needs.

I think of these sets as more than just hair products. They’re little opportunities to slow down, care for yourself, and maybe remind someone else to do the same.

Gift one. Give one. Keep one. šŸ˜‰

Curly āž”ļø smooth, shiny + frizz-free ✨

Here are some of my favorite tricks for getting a really smooth blowout — because it’s not JUST about the tool you’re using. It’s understanding how to use it.

For this blowout, I used the Shark FlexStyle, which I really do love because it helps me create such a smooth finish.

But while you’re watching, pay attention to:
✨ The direction of the airflow
✨ The direction my hands are moving
✨ How I’m creating tension
✨ And, of course, the PRODUCTS.

For this one I used Serenity Smoothing Cream + I Create Volume from Innersense, and I absolutely adore how this turned out. šŸ˜

Curly hair doesn’t always have to be worn curly. Sometimes it’s fun to switch it up — without the FRIZZ.

šŸ”„ AND right now it’s Prime Days, and this blow dryer is on a CRAZY deal! Comment FAVES and I’ll send you the link to the Shark FlexStyle too!

I look back at pictures of my life, like I’m sure you do, and I can almost see the different versions of me trying to figure out who she was.

When I was younger, I was always trying to change something about myself.

My hair.
My body.
My personality.
My circumstances.

I think underneath all of it was this need to prove that I could become somebody significant.

Then somewhere in my mid-30s, I started embracing my curly hair.

And looking back, I don’t think it was ever just about my hair.

I was learning to embrace me.

Now, in my latish šŸ˜‚40s, I’m learning something different.

Acceptance.

Not the kind that says, ā€œThis is just who I am, so I’ll never change.ā€

The kind that says, ā€œThis is who I am—and I don’t have to hate her in order to grow her.ā€

I can see my flaws.
I can recognize the places that still need healing and changing.
I can own the things I wish I had done differently.

But I can also recognize that every version of me brought me here.

And change doesn’t have to happen overnight.

There’s a steadiness that comes with finally realizing I don’t have to constantly reinvent myself to be significant.

Maybe growing older isn’t about becoming someone new.

Maybe it’s about becoming more and more comfortable being who you were created to be.

And funny enough… my curls have been teaching me that all along. šŸ¤

Do you feel more like yourself now than you did 10 or 20 years ago?

One of the #1 questions I hear: ā€œWhy does a curly haircut cost so much?ā€ šŸ‘€

Because you’re not just paying for the haircut.

When you sit in the chair of a curly hair specialist, you should be paying for education, experience, and a roadmap for YOUR hair.

My goal isn’t just to give you great curls the day you leave my chair. It’s to help you understand your hair so you can recreate them at home.

Because a great haircut is only as good as your ability to style it. šŸ™ŒšŸ¼

Yes, seeing a specialist may cost more upfront—but imagine how much you could save by not spending years Googling routines, buying product after product that doesn’t work, and wondering why your curls never look the way you want them to.

You’re not just paying for a haircut.

You’re paying to get to your curl destination faster. šŸŒ€

I hope this helps explain the difference. šŸ¤

Tell me—have you ever left a curly haircut feeling like you actually understood your hair better?

If your DAY 5 curls can’t do this… maybe it’s time to try something different. šŸ‘€āž°

For this routine, she used:
✨ Sweet Spirit + I Create Volume on soaking-wet hair in the shower
✨ I Create Lift Volumizing Foam all over
✨ 6 pumps of I Create Hold + about 2 inches of water in a spray bottle

But here’s the part I really want you to hear: she didn’t love all of these products the first time she tried them.

Learning your curls takes experimenting. It takes understanding what your hair needs, what result you’re looking for, and how your products work together.

So don’t be afraid to revisit something you tried once and didn’t love. You may just need to use it differently. šŸ’›

And if you’re thinking, ā€œGirl, I can’t even get DAY ONE rightā€¦ā€ šŸ˜‚ I’ve got you.

Cultivating Your Curl Confidence walks you through your curls step-by-step, almost like you’re sitting in my chair for a new-client appointment.

Ready to finally understand your curls instead of guessing?

What if we stopped sharing only the highlights?

The success.
The beautiful moments.
The kids doing well.
The business growing.
The proof that somehow, we’ve made it.

There’s nothing wrong with celebrating the light. šŸ¤

But I’m learning that every life has shadows, too. And maybe we don’t have to work so hard to hide them.

Because sometimes the darkest places are exactly where we need someone else’s light the most.

A glimpse. A glimmer. A reminder of God’s goodness when we can’t quite see it for ourselves.

So wherever you are in your story right now—celebrate the good. Be honest about the hard. Wrestle with your faith if you need to.

Just don’t do it alone. šŸ¤

Maybe we were never meant to only share the highlights.

If you’re ready to learn curls IN PERSON, this is a class like no other. ✨

And this time, we’re doing something a little different.

We’re not just opening the doors to stylists — we’re inviting curly girls into the room, too.

Because I believe curl education shouldn’t only happen behind the chair. It should happen IN the chair, too. šŸ™Œ

Stylists, come learn how to see the hair differently, make confident decisions, and stop relying on a recipe and truly understand clean beauty.

Curly girls, come learn what YOUR hair needs, why it behaves the way it does, and how to work with it instead of fighting it.

I get a LOT of heat for this one… šŸ‘€

Is a wave a type of curl? Tell me what you think below. ā¬‡ļø

As a curly hair specialist, I’m gonna say YES. If there’s a natural bend, wave, curl, or coil in the hair—it isn’t straight hair. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

And this is exactly the kind of hair I LOVE working with because you might not even realize what it can do.

Her hair could easily look straight if she simply air-dried it and didn’t encourage the pattern.

So if your hair dries with even a little hint of a bend, try treating it like it might be wavy. Add the right product cocktail, diffuse it, and see what happens. You might be surprised by what’s hiding in there. šŸ‘€ć€°ļøāž°

And remember: if you’re switching to clean beauty, start with the detox. Getting buildup off the hair can make a HUGE difference.

Now tell me… is a wave a curl? šŸ‘‡

Ever look at your curls and realize some of them are giving šŸ‡ā€¦ and some are giving RAISIN? šŸ˜‚

That’s exactly why I don’t refresh every section of my hair the same way.

Some areas were still juicy, clumped and hydrated. Others were completely dehydrated and needed WATER before adding anything else.

For this quick refresh I used:
šŸ’¦ Water — only where I needed it
✨ NEW Overnight Repair Serum
šŸ¤ I Create Volume

The goal isn’t to completely restyle your hair every morning. It’s learning to LOOK at your curls and give each area what it actually needs.

Comment CLEAN if you want to try the products I used!

And tell me — do you like these quick, educational refresh videos? šŸ‡

I almost let fear decide my future.

Maybe you can relate.

What are you most afraid of right now? Because I’ve learned that sometimes the thing we’re most afraid to walk through is the exact thing standing between us and what’s next.

For me, it was flying. āœˆļø

For the first 20 years of my career, I was TERRIFIED to fly. And eventually I had to make a choice: let fear keep deciding how far I could go… or believe that where I was going mattered more than staying where I was comfortable.

So I did it afraid.

And now? I fly all the time. Turbulence barely even bothers me—which still blows my mind. šŸ˜‚

FEAR: False Evidence Appearing Real.

Maybe courage isn’t waiting until you’re no longer afraid.

Maybe it’s deciding that what could be on the other side is worth walking through the fear to find out.

So I’ll ask you:

What’s the thing you’re afraid of right now—and what might be waiting for you on the other side of it? šŸ¤
