The wrestling community is my family.
Ryan Lambert was not just a wrestler at Alexandria High School or a member of Elevate Wrestling. He was a friend to my son, a role model and mentor to my younger son, a teammate to so many, and one of our own.
When one mama cries, we all cry.
My family has been part of the wrestling community for nearly a decade, and I can honestly say there is nothing else like it. We celebrate together, we fight together, we show up for one another, and when tragedy strikes, we grieve together.
This loss is absolutely unimaginable.
Weaver Wrestling, my family personally, my boys, and so many of their teammates, coaches, and friends are heartbroken as we try to process the loss of an amazing young man who should have had so much more time.

This beautiful mama (and my sweet friend) is fresh in her postpartum season, and learning how to balance taking care of herself and her newborn. Today that included a facial, baby snuggles, and a feeding break right in my treatment room. 🤍
