Lets talk about why we need fills and why we need them every 2-3 weeks

Your natural lashes have a grow cycle therefore extensions move with the growth of your natural lashes.  I’m here to give you the most beautiful lashes, however, another most important part of my job is to make sure that your natural lashes are healthy and safe.  Therefore, here is a little information that will explain why we need regular fills to maintain healthy and beautiful lashes and lash extensions.

Week 1:  When the extensions are freshly applied, the extensions are placed 0.5-0.7 mm from the base of your natural lashes.  During week one the extensions remain close to the base without causing any damage.  That gives you the unified and beautiful full set.

Week 2:  As the time passes the natural lashes grow and with it the extension move further along the natural lash.  Some of the lashes may start to twist and turn and you will also shed some of you lashes due to the natural lash cycle.  This is a perfect time to have your fill.

Week 3:  As the extensions move further along the extensions begin to twist and turn due to the weight imbalance on the natural lashes.  At this point a fill is required.  During your fill I will remove all of the criss-crossed, twisted and out ground extensions and apply a fresh lashes in their place.  I will also fill in any gaps in to make your eyelash set stunning once again.

Top Mascara is out of the picture when it comes to your lash extensions! 😱😱😱

🗣Here’s a reason why…Once you apply your top mascara on top of those extensions, not only will it throw away your hard earned investments and the hours your lash artist poured into the set out the window, but the residue will not come off no matter how many times you wash your lashes!

👉👉This can lead to serious bacterial infections! Ahh! And it hurts so deep when your lash artist see this, so please don’t do it! 👀👀If you’re looking for a denser look, simply ask your lash artist if that is a possibility! Communication is key! 🗣

✏️✏️On the other hand, using an oil-free lower lash mascara is totally acceptable and actually harmonizes the eyes beautifully with your top lash extensions! Say it with me: Yes to Bottom Mascara, No to Top Mascara!
