I hope this message finds everyone well! We have received news that Salons will be allowed to reopen effective Monday, May 11th at 8am. With this reopening also comes great responsibility. We will be doing everything possible to ensure your salon experience will be as sanitary as possible. Guidelines have been put in place by the state as well as the City of Oxford. Listed below is what we need from everyone to be sure we stay within these guidelines.

Anyone entering Emma J Salon will be required to wear a mask

Please remain in your vehicle until you have been called in by your stylist. Below, Stylists cell phone numbers will be provided so you can text to check in.

ONE client per stylist. This is includes children. To abide by social distancing guidelines, we CANNOT have any extra people inside the salon.

We will not be accepting any walk-ins for the time being.

Upon entering the salon you will be required to sign a waiver and use hand sanitizer.

If you have been sick in the past 14 days in anyway (fever, cough, etc) you will be required to reschedule your appointment.

If you have been out of the country in the last 14 days you will be required to reschedule your appointment.

All stylists will be screened everyday and sanitation will be performed throughout each day.

Please be patient with us. We have 7 weeks of appointments to reschedule. We want everyone to be first, But we are only 6 people and that is hundreds of clients. We have each received TONS of texts and calls. Rebooking is going in order. Meaning that appointments from the end of March that were canceled are being rescheduled first.... I promise that everyone has gotten the calls and texts and we are getting back with people as quickly as possible! During these first few weeks, please leave a voicemail on your stylists phone or shoot a text. It will be hard to answer the salon phone. This way we can get back with people at the end of each day. This is unprecedented and we will do our best to make everyone happy💗 It may mean coming in at a different time than you are used to or leaving with wet hair. I promise we are trying.

I know this is A LOT of new information and it will be a learning curve for everyone! We cannot wait to make everyone beautiful and catch up with our friends!

Due to the COVID19 outbreak, Emma J Salon will be closed until further notice. We appreciate our amazing customers and cannot wait to see you guys ASAP! We will be following the ordinances put into place by the city of Oxford and will be in contact with upcoming appointments. Just wanted to update our customers! With the uncertain times in the next coming weeks, Emma J Salon will strive to provide the most sanitary/safe experience possible. In doing so, we will need help from our awesome customers. The CDC recommends no more than 10 people gather together in one location. If you have an appointment, please come alone. If you cannot come alone, please ask the other bodies to wait in the car or run an errand. If you have run fever, or have been around someone that has run fever, please reschedule for at least 14 days away. In doing these small things we can help to keep our community safer!
