Snapped this photo the other day as an example of healthy grow out. This client has been with me for 5+ years straight and her natural lashes have not been compromised.

Proper isolation and extension weight are key. That way the extension just hangs on to the natural lash without weighing it down, and goes along with it when it sheds naturally. (Grown out lashes like these are removed and replaced with a fresh one during fills to maintain natural lash health.)
