What are milia?

Milia are deep white bumps that occur when sebaceous matter and keratin become trapped under the skin. As a result, exfoliation and balancing oil production is key!

Milia often occurs near the eyes, but can appear all over the face. (It's also very common in babies, believe it or not!)

For adults with Milia, I recommend the following regimen:

DAILY
Step 1 Cleanse: Phyto-Gel Cleanser
Step 2 Tone: Oily Skin Lotion, as it has geranium to balance hormones and thus oil production.
Step 3 Correct: PM Youthful Lip Retinol Serum can be applied all over to stimulate cellular turnover.
Step 4 Moisturize: AM Hydrating Sunscreen SPF 30 PM Balancing Combination Skin Cream

WEEKLY
SpaTeen Blemished Skin Cleanser or Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser 3-4 days per week in lieu of the Phyto-Gel Cleanser.
Renewing Glycocides Cream can be used up to 3 nights per week, starting with one time per week and working up, to unclog the skin.

I know how frustrating it is to deal with cystic acne. The best kind of peels are actually salicylic acid based, as this is the only acid that penetrates into the hair follicle. Check out Pevonia Floracide Peel. It also contains lactic and glycolic to address hyper pigmentation and exfoliation.

I recommend you get a deep pore cleansing facial using our Clear-O-Zym enzyme. Also, I recommend you use our Problematic line or SpaTeen Blemished Skin line for your home care.

If your breakouts are along the jawline and chin, I recommend the Oily Skin Lotion "toner" as it contains Geranium. Along with this I recommend you use our Enzyme Peeling Cream a couple times a week at home.
