Massage and Reiki with Jody

Feeling a bit overwhelmed, stressed, or busy? Relax into the warmth and softness of my massage table, and be still. Practicing Presence, thoughts and concerns drift away. There's nothing you have to do, no place you have to go, all you have to do is relax and just be. For an hour or more you will be transported to a different dimension. The surface of your waters will be calmed.

I teach two yoga classes online. One on Monday mornings at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time, which is a gentle mat class, and the other on Thursdays at 8:30 a.m. PT, which is a chair yoga class. I would welcome you if you would like to join us! Message me if you are interested.

As a massage and Reiki practitioner my intention is to be fully present so that I can understand what is needed by my client. I bring Presence to the moment at hand, relying on Something greater than myself to do the important work. My physical manipulations play a part, yes, and I am learning all the time about the muscles, ligaments and tendons, but it’s the energy between the body parts that I seek to enliven. Getting my ego out of the way and serving as a channel of the greater Good is my hope and prayer. 🙏

Kale is available and delicious in winter. This smoothie is made with Lacinato Kale, 1 tangelo, Schoch’s raw milk yogurt and some homemade cashew milk. Delicious!

My work penetrates deeply into all three realms, thanks to the healing power of Reiki. Reiki is simply spiritual energy that is passed through me from the Divine. It has the potential to heal and transform us if we give it a chance.

Someone asked me recently "when do you feel closest to God?" I said "when I'm meditating, when I'm gardening, when I'm talking or writing to God." Later, I remembered that I feel God's presence very strongly when I am practicing Reiki. I feel healing energy "downloading" from above, through my body, and out my hands. Is it God? Everything is God.
