Wedding trial from the other day! 🤍

Being a part of a bride’s big day is such a joy! But the prep leading up to the wedding is just as important, and I ALWAYS recommend doing a trial before the big day.

A trial gives me the chance to learn how your hair responds to heat and products, make sure it’s long enough for the style you’re wanting, and figure out if a haircut or any adjustments would better suit your ideal look.

One of my favorite tips? Plan your trial before a shower, photoshoot, or another event! That way, you get a little 2-for-1: you get to look fabulous for your event AND you get to actually test how your hair wears throughout the day and see if there’s anything you’d like adjusted before the wedding 🤌🏼

The goal is for you to walk into your wedding day feeling confident that we already know exactly what works for you.

One of my favorite questions to ask any haircut clients is… “Are you scared?” 🤭

No, not because I’m about to jumpscare you or pull a snake out of my pocket 🐍

But because most of us have experienced THAT haircut before, the one where you left feeling like you weren’t heard and left wondering how you even got there. The last thing I ever want is for someone leaving my chair to feel that way.

Most clients laugh and say no, but sometimes someone says yes! Those are the clients I slow down for.

A big chop? We can take it inch by inch. Nervous about bangs? Let’s start longer and adjust as you get comfortable. My job isn’t to push you past your comfort zone, it’s to help you feel confident in the process and leave you feeling at your best.

Haircuts are the foundation of my business, and making you feel amazing in your own skin is something I take very seriously. I’ll always give my professional opinion based on your hair’s health, hair texture, and your lifestyle, but at the end of the day this service is about you and how you want to feel leaving my chair.

Whether you need to take it slow or you’re ready to chop it all off, I’m your girl 🤍

And one more thing: if you leave and something doesn’t feel quite right after you’ve lived with your haircut for a few weeks, reach out. Hair is personal, every cowlick and growth pattern on your head it uniquely yours and sometimes it takes a few days of living in it to decide something may need a little extra snip.

Communication matters. I want you to love your hair, and I never want you to feel uncomfortable telling me what you need to feel your best self.
