On Saturday, August 22, our team from Pagosa Springs Barbershop had the privilege of volunteering our time and services at the Back to School Event hosted by Pagosa Community Initiative at our local high school. ✂️🏫❤️

PCI served approximately 150 local kids 🎒👧👦, providing free back-to-school supplies and free haircuts to families in our community. 🙌

Our team — Taylor Renee, Adolfo Valenzuela Echavarria, Liliana Valenzuela, and myself — were honored to serve 37 young people ourselves: 9 young females and 28 young males. ✂️💈

I couldn’t be more proud of the team at PCI for recognizing a need in our community and stepping up to meet it. ❤️🤝 Events like this are a great reminder of what can happen when people come together and simply choose to help. 🙏

And I have to brag on my team for a minute. ❤️ I’m incredibly proud of Taylor, Adolfo, and Liliana for giving their time, energy, and talents so freely. Their generosity and willingness to serve others is something I’m proud to be associated with. 💈✂️👏

We are incredibly grateful to work, live, and raise our families in this community — and even more grateful when we have the opportunity to give back. 🏔️❤️

Thank you, Pagosa Community Initiative, for putting this event together and allowing us to be a small part of it. 🙏🎒

Proud to be your barbers. 💈
Proud to be part of Pagosa Springs. 🏔️

Great event this past Saturday: 2nd Chance Prom hosted by Pagosa Community Initiative
Lots of money raised (100k) to help families and kids in our small mountain town.
My wife (Board Chair for PCI) and her incredible team did a great job putting this together for the 4th year.
Proud to have my own, Pagosa Springs Barbershop as one of the sponsors (again).
Thankful for people who have a passion to help others ❤️

To put this in perspective:
Year 1: $13k raised
Year 2: $23k raised
Year 3: $34k raised
Year 4: $100k raised

Thank you to everyone who participated and prioritized this event in our small mountain community
