We have no internet currently. Spectrum was upgrading from 11pm to 8am and still no end in sight.
What that means: We cannot use the front desk computer, music is out for now and some of us can only accept cash, venmo or cashapp payments until this is resolved.

Marissa is running a special: Full transformation model search. Will range from $100-$150 pending what all needs to be done to complete the desired look.

This is my 3rd post regarding this so please read the whole thing.

YES, I am selling my salon (as of right now). If I decide to not sell, I will let everyone know. This will NOT be a quick sale. It could be years before anyone even looks at it. No one has yet and I do not foresee anyone in the near future looking. I do not have to sell, I want to. Just to clarify that to. There are quite a few rumors going around (which I expected) but none are true.

NO, I AM NOT QUITTING HAIR. I will still be doing this. At this time I do not know where that will be like but I have a LOT of options and will see what that looks like at that time of sale and which place/plan is going to be the most profitable and comfortable for me.

WHY? I want to focus on MY OWN clients and business going forward. I no longer wish to have the overhead of owning a salon. You have no idea the bills and time that go into owning and operating a business unless you have had a business. Especially a business that requires the owner to work in it almost 24/7. It is not sustainable unless I hustle as hard as I currently do and the level of burnout I experience right now is insane. This market is saturated and finding renters has been quite an experience that I am tired of having to keep fighting for full booths when I am not a fancy and high end salon that can afford to promote, advertise & have content creators on staff. Nor do I want to be. I also need some surgeries and cannot afford to take the time off and have no wiggle room to do so even if I could. I am booked solid almost an entire year currently, up to 60-80 hrs per week and there is no way I can take the time owning and running a business that requires me to be physically present in order to bring in the money to run it. There is so much more to this and honestly it really doesn't matter why.

FUTURE PLANS: A more sustainable business will be possibly in the works and I will be doing hair on the side somewhere. My current clients and their appointments are FINE AND NOT CHANGING unless I need to scoot things for illness or personal time. If you cancel with me to go somewhere else or find a new stylist: By all means I wish you the best and know you will still have fab hair, but you will not get back on my schedule. I have a wait list and others who will follow me will take those places.

I want to thank all of my clients and friends who have stuck with me and continue to support this crazy life I lead. You are all the main reason why I will still be doing this and why I love what I do.

We are so very, very proud of Marissa! She has been with us 3 years and this girl is finally a fully licensed Cosmetologist!
