I have been in the hair industry for over 20 years and have had extensive education in doing cuts and with hair color.

Currently using surface hair products as well as pravana, all nutrients organic hair color.

We 💗 Amazon... just not for hair products. But why?

1. Counterfeit Products 👯
Companies like Amazon have faced issues with counterfeit products being sold on its platform, including beauty and hair care items. These counterfeits might look 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 to the genuine products but can be harmful to your hair and skin due to unknown ingredients.

2. Expired Products ⌛
Problems like this arise because there is no regulation on how these products are handled by customers. As soon as a product is opened, and bacteria is introduced, the shelf life of the product has started (think of it like pasta sauce: it can sit in your pantry for a long time, but as soon as its opened, it needs to be used within a certain period of time). If you are not the first person to open the product, there is no way of knowing how long these items are good for.

3. Resold Products 🔁
The products can be returned and resold. 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨. It’s bad enough that customers often touch, smell, and test these products in the stores, but there is essentially 𝙯𝙚𝙧𝙤 𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚 that the product you would be buying hasn’t be returned by another customer.
