The calendar doesn't say it's officially summer until June 20th, but for us here in FL... It's here! Most of us will be spending lots of time in the ocean or pool. It's great for your body but not always great for our HAIR! Chlorine, residue from sweat and sunscreen, and hard water build up if you have well water. A Malibu treatment is the gold standard of in-salon treatments, but we don't always have time for that! A wonderful middle ground is this Dream Filter from Color wow. You simply spray well on dry hair, brush through to evenly distribute, then shampoo as usual. The spray helps break down contaminants like chlorine and iron so you can wash them away. 1. Defy Damage - If you or someone you would like to give a gift to has bleached hair or likes to change their color up often, this is the special sauce. Everyone knows I like to bleach and change my hair color often, and I have the liter size of this shampoo and conditioner in my shower right now. It helps immensely with the crunchy Dorito ends. IYKYK.

2. Blonde Life - this stuff is very gentle, smells INCREDIBLE, and is good for white/silver hair or bleached or highlighted hair that is a very light blonde and just needs a little brightening up and conditioning.

3. Paul Mitchell Tea Tree - the OG gold standard of tea tree products tbh. Good unisex scent, it just smells super clean and botanical, and gives your skin a nice tingle. Tea tree has been shown to be an effective antifungal agent, can help with dandruff and scalp irritation, and has also been shown to work as an insect repellant. I would not super recommend for hair that is colored, but it is great for oily folks.

4. Milkshake Silver Shine - this is heavy duty purple shampoo. If you want to be super duper icy almost veering into silver-silver or lilac tones, this is it. It is highly potent and I recommend alternating use and/or diluting with some regular shampoo. The conditioner you could probably use every time just for maintenance, and it smells great.
