Carole’s Journey through Ovarian Cancer

It’s a ”Teal she heals”kinda Christmas this year.

Praising the Lord via Online Worship services. She has had a few rough days but is better this afternoon just weak.

A week in review..Moms 3rd Chemo treatment was on Wednesday. Everything went incredibly smooth. Our journey on Treatment days start before the sun comes up and end usually after it sets. So thankful that Tony could go and help. Then of course a picture of mom enjoying Malcolm on Halloween. (He makes her smiles the biggest).Yesterday afternoon she was able to sit out on the porch and visit with her friend Angela. Praising the Lord for such a great week.

Today has been rough but we have been very blessed. They weren’t able to do her chemo because of lab issues. Her chemo is now scheduled for 8am tomorrow. The American Cancer Hope Lodge gave us a room for tonight free. (It’s a really nice place)And then when we went to get her hair cut…Great Clips did it for free. The Lord is good all of the time.

It’s been a very long day. The 1st day of chemo had several hiccups but all ended well. Headed home

Getting pampered with a mani/pedi. Yesterday the port was put in and she did amazing. Tomorrow is the first chemo treatment in Dallas…Sporting the Teal for Ovarian Cancer Awareness

Malcolm saved Nanas life yesterday, by running for help when She went into anaphylactic shock & passed out. Her BP was 50/32 when EMS arrived. After a night in the hospital she is fine and will be released later today. So Thankful that he was quick to get help.

Thank you so much to the men from Evangelist Temple who trimmed the trees away from moms roof. You truly have a servants heart. And thank you Janet Fletcher for setting this up. We really appreciate it.

Mom went for her post op check up with Oncology today. She is doing great. Chemo will begin September 14th.
