✨ Meet Amanda, the owner of Altair Salon and the heart and soul of the Altair family! ✨
Originally from Miami, Amanda brings the warmth, creativity, and energy of her hometown into everything she does. Her passion for creating a fun, welcoming, and positive environment shines through not only in her work with clients, but also in the culture she has built for her stylists.
Amanda trained at the Aveda Institute, where she established the foundation for an incredible 16-year career as a master stylist. But her love for hair began long before she ever stepped into a classroom. Growing up behind the chair alongside her mother, Amy, she was surrounded by the artistry, connection, and creativity of the beauty industry from an early age.
Throughout her career, Amanda has worked on South Beach alongside some of the top names in the industry, with a clientele ranging from Ivana Trump to Rita Ora. She has also educated beauty students and seasoned master stylists alike.
Amanda later served as the Education Program Manager for Keratin Complex, where she helped develop professional education programs and contributed to the creation of the brand’s color line, styling products, and several keratin treatments.
Today, she brings that experience, knowledge, and passion into Altair Salon—creating a space where clients feel beautiful and stylists feel inspired, supported, and empowered to grow. 🤍✨

Color correction, but make it a complete transformation. ✨
We refined her blonde, restored the dimension, and added two rows of 20-inch Harper Ellis weft extensions for seamless length, fullness, and movement.
The goal? Expensive-looking hair that blends flawlessly and still feels completely natural.
FOR THE ONES WHO WERE NEVER MEANT TO BLEND IN.

It was so refreshing to spend time with like-minded people who are truly in this industry because they love it.
This class was one of the best reassurances I could have asked for as a salon owner. It reminded me that I’m not the only one who’s faced the challenges that come with building a business, leading a team, and navigating this industry. Knowing there’s a community of owners and leaders who genuinely support one another and help keep each other sane in this crazy business is something I’m incredibly grateful for.
Everyone was so warm, welcoming, and generous with their knowledge. It reminded me what this industry is really about—leadership, teamwork, growth, and lifting each other up. Experiences like this are exactly why I fell in love with this profession in the first place.

If that’s you, welcome.
I’m not interested in fitting into the beauty industry.
I’m interested in redesigning it.
Some people build salons.
I build leaders.
Some people chase trends.
I chase ideas worth creating.
Some people ask, “How has it always been done?”
I’m asking, “Why are we still doing it that way?”
Altair was never meant to be another luxury salon.
It was built to prove that luxury can have personality.
That education can be be exciting.
That leadership can be cultivated.
That creativity belongs in every corner of this industry—not just behind the chair.
Not everyone will understand that.
Some people will come.
Some people will leave.
A different standard requires a different mindset, and accountability isn’t for everyone.
