Today was a day in the woods! Sooo refreshing!! Hours in the woods, no trail, just the beautiful land that God made. Well, this is the “Backfield” (woods behind me). Jared, the kids, and I have hiked the trek through the woods thousands of times, when they were smaller (I’ll take pics of the forest- super enchanting!) Yesterday, I found some things I need immediately (forgot to bring😋): horsetail (face toner, since the wild roses aren’t out yet) and Labrador tea (bug spray). I figured I should show the place where the name came from🍃🌊🥰
