I am truly honored to have been a part of Callie & Jake’s wedding in Palm Springs 🌴 🌸 🍊 🩵 .wine

I am grateful that my brides value my work and honestly it feels more like a friendship than client/contract! I don’t even feel like I’m working half the time!

I did an uncompensated styled shoot with the bride and her sister a few years prior just to build my portfolio ( specifically hair) and network with new vendors. And I really had such a blast working with them and the photos were fantastic!

Fast forward a couple years and she asked me to be her makeup artist for her wedding 💍 😭😍 ✨

It’s an honor and a privilege to be a part of one of the best days in someone’s life. So thank you to everyone that allows me to do that!

This is your reminder that not everything you do is monetarily transactional. Not saying you should be working for 🆓 all the time, but if you do give freely every once in a while you reap the rewards tenfold.

This is not the only story I have like this either. I have more than a few! It’s something I try to tell every person who starts a business. Many times the relationships you build with people and the energy you put out into the world is more valuable to your reputation and business than actual gold 💰

Getting to work with amazing clients and vendors that feel like friends is the one of the highlights of my career 💫

I’m backkkkkkk 👋🏼

Man it’s taken about 5 months to adjust and find my groove in my new area 😵‍💫

This was the first week I actually started working in Utah & Arizona 🏜️ And holy s**t has it been amazing!

Recap:

Monday: I first got to work with for their photography workshop & retreat! Vendor for bridal hair & makeup for elopement styled shoot at and vendor for decor (). Truly and beautiful shoot and I can’t wait to see more photos!

Tuesday: Modeling for as & ( almost didn’t make it 😅) but with the help of another local couple did a speed round at 🧡

Tuesday evening: Last shoot with hair & makeup for epic western shoot 🤠 👢👰🏼‍♀️

My first job in my area working with .app 💛

When it rains, it pours 😂 4 events in a week usually jot a big deal but out here I’ve had to drive hundreds of miles which I’m still getting used to 🚙

But what a dream it is to work in some of the most beautiful parks in the world!

Back in CA this week to finish up the last of my weddings there!

2023 was quite a year! Grateful for all of the success I’ve had in Southern California! All of the connections made and the referrals I continue to get ♥️

However, I just want to remind everyone that I have relocated to the Utah/ AZ border.

I want to address this in its own post so it’s easier to reference for new and returning clients. I continue to receive inquiries for the Palm Springs and Joshua Tree area which I am very grateful for, but in order for me to come back and work in Southern California I have to have multiple jobs lined up for it to be worth it. And that requires at least ‼️6 MONTHS ‼️advance notice so I can plan accordingly if you really are interested in having me as your artist.

Otherwise, I have a list of amazing hairstylists and makeup artists I’d be happy to recommend to you in that area 🌴🩷

That being said, I will periodically be in the Palm Springs area throughout the year visiting family like I am right now.

I just needed to create a post about this so I can pin it to the top of my page so I don’t have to repeat myself.

If I haven’t responded to your inquiry it’s probably because I’m trying to see if I can line up a few dates to make it work.

Well it’s officially been over two weeks since I’ve moved from California to Utah 🚛

I apologize if it’s taken me a little while to respond to or post anything. This move has been a little rough and I’ve been feeling under the weather as a result 😮‍💨

I also am just taking my time to adjust and spend time with family through the holidays 🎄 🥂 ✨

I am planning a few trips back to the desert in the coming months so I will be posting the dates soon so you can book accordingly 🤗
