Just a Hair Witch

Sarah here!! Just wanted to let everyone know to keep your eyes peeled for some new graphics coming for Hair to Dye for !!! I will have a new logo but it's still me ! After opening during the early days of the pandemic it's taken a little time to find the right groove for the space! Some small detail changes over time have led me to a slightly different vibe and I couldn't be happier with it ! I hope you enjoy it too! I'll be updating and launching my new website too !!

I genuinely believe nothing is more important than self care. This client contacted me asking if I would be willing to try and get the knot out of her hair. She had gone body surfing 2 months ago and her hair become quite tangled. She looks after her ill mother and her grand daughter. She kept hoping to find/make the time to tackle the knot. The pictures of her before were taken after I had worked at it for an hour and a half. When she initially came in I thought she had it in a bun. There were no ends showing anywhere and it all sat perfectly on top of her head. Prior to the knot it has been down to her waist.. After another half an hour we came to the conclusion that cutting was going to be our only option. And I was concerned because it was matted to her scalp all around the outside. I had a pit in my stomach because I was genuinely concerned that we would end up having to shave it off. The hair gods where with me on this one. She said to me " I'm sure this isn't what you went to school for Im sorry ". And I told her . " actually it is , as cheesy as it may sound . I chose this as my career because it gives me a unique opportunity to make people feel better about themselves. So if getting the knot our will do that for you then yes. It's exactlywhat I went to school for " A new hair style can signify a change for so many people. She said " I keep wondering what the lesson Im supposed to learn from this is " I told her I didn't believe there was one. I feel like we should look at it as more of a "rebirth" and on a full moon no less !

Hi everyone! I thought I should take a minute and re introduce myself since someone you are new here ! My name is Sarah Graham and I am the owner of Hair to Dye for a little suite in Palm Desert Ca! This year marks 11 years in the industry for me and I can hardly believe it. I decided after the year we all just had that I needed to take my career into my own hands and try and create a safe space for my clients to come do some mental unwinding and practice self care. I cant wait to show you guys what Ive been up to and what exciting things I have coming!
