šŸŒž August Foundation Focus: Walk After Meals

Most people think getting healthier means doing something big.

What if it started with something as simple as a 20-minute walk?

This month’s challenge is one of the easiest habits you can build…and one I’m sure you will love! It’s my favorite part of my day!

🚶 Walk for about 20 minutes after one meal each day.

Why after a meal?

āœ”ļø Supports healthy blood sugar
āœ”ļø Helps digestion
āœ”ļø Increases daily movement without feeling like a workout
āœ”ļø Boosts your mood
āœ”ļø Gets you outside for fresh air and sunshine
āœ”ļø Creates a habit you can carry into every season

Here’s something fun…

I tested it.

If you walk for 20 minutes to the beat of ā€œStayin’ Alive,ā€ you’ll get about 2,400 steps! šŸŽ¶

Small habits are what create lasting change.

You don’t have to overhaul your entire life this month. Missed a day? Don’t start over. Just keep walking.

Just lace up your shoes after dinner… and walk.

Who’s joining us for the August Foundation Challenge? Comment ā€œWALKā€ if your in!

Included is a sheet you can print off and keep track of your progress!

It’s all coming together… and we couldn’t be more excited. šŸ’›

After months of planning, learning, creating, and refining, Paradise Journey will officially be available this Monday for those who are ready to stop chasing quick fixes and start building lasting results.

For too long, wellness has felt overwhelming.

Follow this diet.

Try this workout.

Take this supplement.

Count these calories.

Cut out your favorite foods.

No wonder so many people feel like they’re constantly starting over.

That’s not what we wanted to create.

We wanted to create a lifestyle.

One that helps you build healthier habits without taking over your life.

One that recognizes nutrition and strength training matter—but also understands that sleep, recovery, hydration, and stress all play a role in how you feel.

Because real wellness isn’t about chasing perfection.

It’s about supporting your body in a way that’s sustainable.

That’s why we created Paradise Journey.

Not to give you another program to follow…

But to walk alongside you as you build a healthier lifestyle that lasts.

A step-by-step system with practical guides, progress tracking, weigh-ins, encouragement, and accountability to help you build habits that last.

Not because it’s easy.

Because you’re worth the effort.

It’s time to stop simply getting through life…

And start feeling good enough to truly enjoy it.

If you’ve been looking for a simpler, more sustainable approach to your health…

We’d love for you to join us.

Over the next few days, we’ll continue sharing more about Paradise Journey so you’ll know exactly what to expect when we officially open enrollment on Monday.

Because lasting transformation doesn’t happen overnight.

It happens one healthy habit at a time.

Heat Advisory? We’ll take it. ā˜€ļø

Makeshift shade for the pups.
Sunshine for me.
Water nearby.

I hope you’re finding a few minutes to get outside, soak up some sunshine, and enjoy a little vitamin D today. šŸ’›

Sometimes the healthiest things we can do are the simplest.

People often ask what the secret is.

There isn’t one.

Most people already know the basics:
• Eat more protein.
• Drink more water.
• Move your body.
• Get enough sleep.

The challenge isn’t knowing what to do.

It’s turning those healthy choices into habits you can actually live with.

Not for a week.
Not for a challenge.
But for life.

Because the healthiest lifestyle isn’t the most extreme.

It’s the one that fits your life.

That’s where real change begins.

Real transformation doesn’t happen because you change everything overnight.

It happens because you improve one small thing… and then another.

That’s why the first guide in Paradise Journey is our 8 Foundations of Wellness.

You don’t have to master all eight today.

Start with one.

Build confidence.

Keep going.

Small changes become lasting habits.

The best wellness plan isn’t the hardest one.

It’s the one that fits your busy life.

The one that makes healthy choices simple.

Quick, delicious, high-protein meals you actually look forward to eating.

Strength training that fits your schedule.

And yes… a plan that still leaves room for dinner out or a Big Dipper ice cream once in a while.

Because wellness isn’t about giving up the foods you love. It’s about building habits that make room for them.

That’s where lasting results begin.

So… what exactly is Paradise Journey?

It’s not another diet.

It’s not another workout plan.

And it’s definitely not about trying to change everything overnight.

It’s a step-by-step wellness journey built around one simple belief:

Small habits, practiced consistently, create extraordinary results.

Every part of the program works together.

✨ Nutrition

šŸ’Ŗ Strength & Movement

ā¤ļø Recovery

šŸ“ˆ Progress Tracking

šŸ¤ Accountability

🌿 Lifestyle Habits

And, when appropriate, provider-guided wellness support.

Because real transformation rarely comes from one thing.

It comes from consistently doing the right things over time.

That’s why we created a complete system—not just another meal plan or workout.

We believe recovery is just as important as movement and nutrition. Real transformation happens when every piece works together.

Over the next several days, we’ll be taking you inside each guide and showing you how they all work together.

If you could improve one area of your health, what would it be? We’d love to hear in the comments. šŸ’›

It’s finally here.

A few months ago, we thought we’d be ready much sooner.

But every time we looked at what we’d created, it didn’t quite feel like us.

We could have handed people generic meal plans.

Generic workouts.

Generic wellness advice.

Instead, we kept asking ourselves one question:

ā€œIf this were for our family… would this actually help them?ā€

So we kept rewriting.

Testing.

Learning.

Simplifying.

Because we believe healthy living shouldn’t feel overwhelming.

It should fit into real life.

The result is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Not just a nutrition guide.

Not just a workout plan.

Not just HOCATT or Red Light.

But a complete wellness system built around one simple belief:

Support your body first. Results follow.

These guides are filled with the habits we actually practice, the meals we actually eat, and the workouts we actually do.

Simple.

Realistic.

Designed for busy lives.

Seeing months of work spread out on our table today was one of those moments where it finally hit us…

This is why we took our time.

And honestly…

We’re just getting started. šŸ’›

Over the next week, we’ll be sharing what’s inside these guides, why we created them, and how this whole wellness journey comes together. We can’t wait to take you behind the scenes.

Question: What’s the biggest challenge you face when it comes to living a healthier lifestyle?

Photos from Paradise Tanning's post 07/23/2026

The goal isn’t just to live longer.

It’s to stay strong enough to live well.

One of the biggest changes that happens as we age is the gradual loss of muscle and bone density. That loss can make everyday things—getting out of a chair, climbing stairs, carrying groceries, or getting up after a fall—much harder over time.

I’ve watched it happen with my own grandparents. Seeing how difficult those simple movements became reminded me that strength isn’t just about fitness… it’s about maintaining your independence.

That’s one of the reasons I don’t spend hours in the gym anymore.

I’ve found that 20–25 minutes of focused strength training is enough to challenge my muscles without taking over my day. For me, it’s actually been more effective than the 45–60 minute workouts I used to do because it’s realistic enough that I actually stay consistent.

The best workout isn’t the longest one.

It’s the one you’ll keep doing.

Small, consistent habits practiced over years will always beat the perfect plan you can’t stick with.

That’s exactly why we’ve spent the last several months creating simple wellness guides designed to help people build healthy habits they can actually maintain.

No extremes.

No overwhelm.

Just practical steps that fit into real life.

We’re putting the finishing touches on everything now, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Support your body first. Results follow. šŸ’›

So tell me…

Which would you be more likely to stick with for the next year?

šŸ’Ŗ 20–25 minutes?

ā±ļø An hour?

07/17/2026

It’s amazing how the things that seem the smallest today…

become the things we’re most grateful we started.

Sometimes ordinary habits create extraordinary lives. 🌿
