Hair Therapy with Karsen

Hi everyone, I’ve tried to make a post about this before but took it down because of some comments. As some of you know, and I’ve tried my best to fill people in (things in my world have been really crazy, so I do apologize if you were left out of the loop, it was not my intention!) but the salon I was working under no longer exists as a salon. The owner has different plans for her business future. No hard feelings there. Starting my own business was my DREAM and It was an amazing experience while it lasted. I’m forever grateful for the friendships that blossomed with the women that worked next door and for the new clients I had the pleasure of meeting and growing close to and of course the continued support of the people who have followed me over from my previous salon. I found out I was expecting (a baby boy, yay!💙) around this time and decided it was best to give myself a break while I toughed out the first trimester and adjusted to these major life changes, which I’m glad I did. I needed it! I don’t have plans to start up on my own again while I’m still pregnant because it’s too hard on my body to be working the hours necessary to keep a business afloat. However, I am going back to my old shop next door (which is just haircuts, no color) part-time hours. It is a corporate salon and I will be following whatever guidelines/regulations that are expected of me. One of those will be wearing a mask and requiring everybody who comes in to also wear a mask. I’ve kept this page up for this exact reason, so if I found a new spot I could let people know where I will be. Please call the shop number I provide for what hours I will be working (shifts and days change weekly) instead of messaging me on here or texting. TO MY HAIR COLOR PEOPLE; as much as I live and breathe color, and miss all of you dearly, it’s just too much for my body to be standing in one spot for several hours at a time, which most of you know my colors take FOREVER and a day lol. Lucky for you though, some of my best friends are great colorists as well as wonderful humans and I would love to give out their names if interested! Thank you all for the love and support you’ve shown me. Who knows what the future will bring, I might make one hell of a come back one day! Until then I’m very excited to be working with some of my favorite ladies again and look forward to seeing some of your (masked) faces! Hey! It’s been brought to my attention that Facebook is sending appointment reminders with the incorrect time. It must be a glitch in their booking system. I promise I’m not moving things around on ya! If you’re unsure ask me or or go back through our conversation and look for the message saying I approved your appointment request. I hope this helps! ☺️ Thank you for understanding all these new changes and schedule hiccups. I’m trying my best to adjust/work out the bugs so I can run things as smooth as possible. ❤️

I’m sure most of you have heard the good news?! 😃😃 I’m beyond excited to return to the salon. I’ve missed it, and you all, SO much! I won’t officially be opening Friday though. I want to make sure I have a clear understanding on what the guidelines are so I can provide your hair services in the safest way possible. This gives me time to collect all the supplies I need. I am still working on getting everybody on the schedule though! It won’t be long, I promise! For the safety of my clients and myself, I’m limiting the amount of appointments I’m taking each day. I will be working more days to accommodate everybody. I do ask that anyone who doesn’t yet have a mask to find one please. I will be asking everybody to wear one and I will be wearing one myself. It might seem a little awkward at first but we will figure it out! ☺️ When we get things rolling It would be really helpful to me if everybody could make their appointment online by using the “book now” button and click what service you are wanting done. If you’re thinking of trying something new or want to talk hair color, ask about scheduling a time for a consultation. Please understand I won’t be able to do back and forth messaging with every single person regarding color services in this busy time. Doing things this way ensures we have a time set up so I can give you my undivided attention! Thank you so so much for being patient and waiting on me, it means a lot. Hey! I’ve had a couple of people mention that they are having a hard time booking their appointments. I think I found out why! You’ll click the “book now” button, click the service you’re wanting, then there’s a “continue” button up in the right hand corner that will bring you to the date/times available. I hope this helps! If not, please let me know. I also wanted to remind everyone that salons are to remain closed. We don’t have a re-open date YET. I’m only taking appointments for May and later HOPING that we can be open by then. If not then I will reach out to you and we will pick a later appointment time. Thanks for your patience! ☺️
