🌿 First Render in the New Homestead Shop! 🌿
There's something so satisfying about making my very first batch in this new space. After dreaming, planning, packing, moving, and setting everything up, I finally got to do what I love most... create. 🐝💛
Today marks the first render in the Honeybee Homestead shop, and I couldn't be happier. Having dedicated space to work, organized supplies, and everything right at my fingertips makes such a difference. No more hunting for tools or squeezing projects into whatever space was available. Just room to create, grow, and dream even bigger.
This little shop is more than a workspace. It's the beginning of a new chapter, and I can't wait to fill it with handmade goodness, new products, and lots of homestead adventures.
Here's to firsts, fresh starts, and following dreams all the way home. ✨🏡🐝

🐝 Behind the Scenes at the Farm Stand 🐝
Another big step closer to the finish line!
The trench has been dug, electric cables have been run, and the conduit is being tucked safely into place. Every step brings us one step closer to opening the farm stand doors.
Next up: getting everything connected into the electrical panel. This is the last major project standing between us and the finish line!
After that, we'll be waiting on our inspection for cottage bakery licensing, and then it will finally be time to welcome everyone to this dream we've been working so hard to build.
Thank you all for following along on this journey. Seeing this vision come together one project at a time has been incredibly exciting, and we can't wait to share what's coming next! 💛🐝

😂🌿 Homestead Adventures: Episode 47
I was this close to picking up this little friend and moving him to a safer spot.
At first glance: 🥰 "Look at this cute little guy! Let me help you."
Then I looked a little closer...
Zooms in 👀
Praying mantis: "Touch me and see what happens."
Sir, why do you look like you're personally offended by my existence? This little guy has the strongest RBF I've ever seen. For a second I thought I'd stumbled upon a tiny green assassin instead of a garden helper. 😳😂
The attitude packed into that tiny body is honestly impressive. Needless to say, I decided he was perfectly capable of handling his own relocation plans.
Carry on with your important business, tiny boss. 🌿💚

After clearing brush, battling weeds, and uncovering hidden treasures, I'd like to introduce the entire asparagus crop of Honeybee Homestead... 🌱
Meet Rodney.

Rodney has been holding down the fort all by himself for who knows how many years. Against all odds, he survived neglect, overgrowth, and probably several close calls with the mower.
We're all rooting for you, Rodney. 💚😂

Sometimes the biggest transformations happen with a little hard work and great friends by your side.
This overgrown area is now cleared and ready for its next chapter! A huge thank you to Debi and her hubby for lending a hand. I'm pretty spoiled having a friend whose husband owns all the fun toys! 😊🌿🚜

Not only did you show up for us today, but I also had two unexpected worker bees join the hive! 🐝💛 Jess and Mom stopped by to lend a hand before the rain rolled in and washed us out. Feeling extra grateful for family, helping hands, and a community that always shows up. ✨☔

🍎🌶️🧄 Fire C***r Season is officially underway at the homestead!
Anyone else get their fire c***r started yet? 🙋‍♀️
What’s in your jar this year? 🍎 Apple c***r vinegar 🌶️ Hot peppers 🧄 Garlic 🧅 Onions 🍊 Citrus 🌿 Herbs
Or do you have a secret ingredient you swear by? 👀
Drop a photo of your brew in the comments and tell us what makes your batch unique! Let's inspire each other and compare notes as these jars work their magic over the next few weeks. ❤️🐝
