Bruising after injections can be expected and is a normal part of the healing process. This is an example of how the area may appear in the first few days as your body begins to recover.

Arnica may help minimize the appearance, and after the first 24 hours, a warm compress can support circulation as the body reabsorbs the area. The filler will continue to settle beautifully while any bruising gradually fades.

While bruising is common, blanching of the skin, mottled or dusky discoloration, increasing or disproportionate pain, or delayed capillary refill are not expected. Please contact your provider right away if you notice any of these changes.
