First workout with my new sign finally up!

I’m loving how my workout space just keeps evolving into a place that makes me want to show up, get moving, and get after it. It’s crazy how something as simple as a room can shift your mindset and make you feel ready to get pumped!

Create a space that inspires you, and suddenly showing up feels a whole lot easier.

I’m excited to share that I’m embarking on a new journey: I’m officially joining the faculty at Colorado Mesa University, my alma mater!

Last week, I completed orientation and am now getting ready to teach new Mavericks in the field of psychology, specifically Human Growth and Development. What an incredible full-circle moment to return to the university that helped shape me and now have the opportunity to help shape the next generation of students. And with turning 40 this year, I figured what better way to enter a new decade than by challenging myself. I’m pretty sure teaching college students is going to accomplish that!

And the best part? I’ll be teaching at the Montrose campus! This gives me the opportunity to give back to the community I love while bringing real-world experience from my clinical work directly into the classroom.

Don’t worry, I’m not leaving my clinic! I’ll continue providing psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments and counseling services for children while adding this exciting new chapter to my professional journey.

I hope I can inspire my students to develop a genuine love for psychology, curiosity about human development, and a passion for making a difference, no matter where their careers take them. Feeling incredibly grateful, proud, excited, and maybe just a little bit nervous for what’s ahead. Here’s to new adventures. Go Mavs!

Entered the next decade of my life with a Tonal workout, because that’s the only way to embrace turning 40! Feeling strong, focused and dedicated. Cheers to 40 years…which is definitely the new 30 😉

We had fun participating in the Colorado Rockies Home Run 5k last weekend!

A few years ago, I ran the race by myself. It was my first ever 5k and I trained for a few months. This year, the entire family joined me! I was super proud of Amelia and JJ for completing the entire race 👏 JJ was thrilled to see Dinger and earn his medal.
