Today we have a shiny new thing for everyone. Not the scent, or even the design (this is Water to The Dead, for those that are new here) But shampoo bars in this particular scent!! It's fully stocked so you know you should get some. THe clean, refreshing blend of eucalyptus, mint, and hyssop, then you will love this scent as it follows you through the day.

This is also a great time to let you know that we can make our Zodiac scents into perfumes. But we are absolutely not doing a full run right away. If you want one, and we don't make it yet, speak up! Drop us a line and we'll get a custom invoice for you and get it out. Closed mouths don't get smelly good things. Or something. Words are hard when it's 100+ at 10 fu***ng pm. ( ya girl is melting.. )

Anyways. GO buy stuff. And in the spirit of the day, maybe go find a small black owned business to support as well! ♥

I was going to post something else today but this seems more appropriate. I dont think theres anyone who doesn't know this, but I am a NYC native. Though I am not a sports fan (I walked away from the Yankees after the Charlie Kirk thing), I am loving the vibe in the city right now and although Im always proud of NYC, watching people so joyful today is a whole thing at a time when joy is thin on the ground.

As happens, Summer in the City soaps are actually in stock (they take *forever* to make) and they come in this delightful box, too. If you're wondering, the scent is night blooming jasmine, musk, coconut milk, bergamot, black pepper, cinnamon leaf, tonka bean, cypress, cedarwood, patchouli and citron. I know, it sounds like a lot, but think of it like a metaphor. Trust that it works.

If you're celebrating the Knicks today, or the Mermaid Parade tomorrow, or the World Cup games happening next door in NJ, NYC is happy to have you.

Im trying to get back to daily posting but the kittens have been a bit of a time sink.

However, some news- Dust & a Shadow bath salts are back in stock (we haven't had them since Salem last year) If you're into earthy scents, this is right up your alley. It's a blend of vanilla, patchouli, smoked cedar, to***co, leather, and grave earth. Speaking of Shriekback (which I am) they're currently crowdfunding their 19th album, so I might just put Achtung back out on sale next week to help. Stay tuned.

Hello. My name is Louise. I live with my sister Tina and Uncle Teddy. Tina looks like me. Teddy is large and orange, but I think I can take him.

In any case, my small human thinks I should try my hand at announcing this new thing, mostly because she doesn't want to do it, and I am demonstrably cuter.

I have been authorized to tell everyone that Aries zodiac perfumes are now available. They are the same scent as the Aries body washes, which is dragon's blood, juniper, ginger, and carnation. Im not sure why we're cutting up dragons for this.

My birthday is March 26. Person tells me I am an Aries too, so I am a perfect spokescat. Anyway, they are available in roll on and solids. Also, if you are not an Aries like me, but want a perfume in your sign's scent, you're supposed to say so in comments because person doesn't want to make them until people want them or something. I don't know, this script is terrible.

You can see the roll ons on the next photo. You can't see the solids because Person forgot to take photos. She was too busy taking photos of me and my sister, obviously, because she has priorities.

As promised, Im back at work after a rocky start to the week kitten-wise (they're both fine. Yesterday, Louise discovered that she likes fishing toys and Tina discovered she likes laps.)

Bitter for Sweet roll on perfume is back in stock, by the way. We sold a bunch at DFF and I finally was able to make some more. As always, the scent is chocolate covered cherry. Im working on a solid perfume restock right now.

Ive been asked to make pet shampoo. Who's interested (I mean really interested, not the kind of interested where you want it to exist, until it does, and then no one buys it.)

Ok so, few things. 1. Theres a bunch of new followers all of a sudden, so hi and welcome to them 2. A kitten update, 3. some reintroductions for all the new folks.

The photo btw is of Louise. She's fine. She'd passed out cold in her towel after a bath.
So kitten news- both kittens are fine. The name thing was a whole problem though. Her shelter name was Chicken Hawk which I wasn't keeping, and I thought originally to call her Kuchi Kopi, since she was Louise's night light. But I can't in good conscience call a cat "Kuchi" for her whole life. (say it to yourself, you'll see where it goes wrong.)

Im skipping to the end. Kind of in memory of little Tina, and kind of because I just am stuck on this, her name is Tina Two-na. (Say it to yourself and you get kind of a Tina Turner play and also "Tina tuna", but also I get to keep Tina and Louise and people get named after other people all the time so we're going with it.) If you want to see all the kitten and cat content, the account to see it all is . I don't usually flood this account with cat things(they do pop up occasionally, especially in June, more on that later.)

But I will post the occasional kitten photo here as well. Usually Im talking about soap and other related things. Just so we're clear. Also also, if you're here by way of , you might want to know that I moonlight as a political analyst. I am back at work today after two days of all kitten all the time.
