Finding love in Cancer

Pre-chemo shoot, Cycle 2.

At 50, non-pharmaceutical remedy is life preserving given the work my kidneys and liver already do to keep my body able. Tried something new today and it worked!

A chemo care package surprised me today. My heart feels full, my eyes leaked of joy and I feel love! It feels amazing to be smiling from the inside out.

Thanking God for such blessings of life.

Day 10, Cycle 1.

Sleepless night - not a wink of sleep. Come to think of it, It was pain free and peaceful.

Maybe I’m supposed to remember how glorious being painfree is!

I’m keeping this in my toolbox for moments when pain is all there is to feel, such as it was just a couple of days ago.

In the comfort of awakening, I reconnected to God’s word and was still.

I waited till there was light before calling mom - I worry too much she said.

What would it look like for us to truly have faith in God to the level that we really didn’t worry about tomorrow? What kind of peace would it bring to truly place the cares, burdens, and stresses of this world squarely on the shoulders of the Almighty, all-loving God? GLORIOUS!

My mentor reminds me: To go deeper into the fullness of life available to us in Jesus requires putting our faith and trust in God alone.

**We will never experience the peace of heaven if our hope is in this earth.
**We will never experience the power and help of the Holy Spirit if our hope is in our own abilities, talents, and strengths.
**We will never fully experience the satisfaction of truly being loved if we place our hope of affirmation in the opinions of others.

The only path to truly experiencing the abundant life available to us in Jesus is placing our faith and trust in him alone.

Jeremiah 29:13 promises, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

I choose to place my faith and trust in God alone today that i might seek him with “all of your heart.”

Place your hope in him alone for he alone is faithful. Do as 1 Peter 5:7 commands and “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (NIV). You will never find a return on your investment of faith and trust in anything of the world like you will in God.

Only God will take our faith and trust and multiply it until our life is a perfect reflection of his loving-kindness.

May each of us find true satisfaction, peace, and joy in God today as we crown him King of our heart.
