I’m in absolute denial that it has been five years since I opened my brow studio at Sola Pasadena! (Almost seven years with if you include my Detroit location)

Being a small business owner in the beauty industry isn’t easy, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Like how fortunate am I that I get to show up to work every day and connect with amazing people… while making them feel beautiful too?!?

One of the craziest decisions I’ve ever made was leaving behind a successful business to rebuild in an entire new city, all during a global pandemic! But it was also one of the greatest decisions I’ve ever made and I’m beyond grateful to be where I’m at today.

Thank you for the loyalty, trust, and nonstop support through out the years. I appreciate every single one of you more than you know 💖

February 15th was the 1 year anniversary of opening my California location. I've been a bit burnt out and tired the past few days, so I haven't had much motivation to post. 😩

But I just want to say THANK YOU to every person who has walked through my door or supported my small business this past year.

I left everything behind in Michigan, moved all the way across the country, opened up shop in a whole new city, started with 60 clients and finished the year with a little over 500 clients. I'm never trying to brag, but I am proud of my accomplishments and hope that I can help at least one person realize that they are capable of achieving their goals and dreams. Anything is possible, you just have to work hard, be patient, trust the universe and BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support me and show love. I wouldn't be here without you. I'm too tired to type any more but THANKS AGAIN I LOVE YOU ALL 💕💕💕💕💕

The past year has been a WILD ride, but I'm grateful for what has come out of it. I went into 2020 overworked and exhausted. Being booked out for months was a blessing, but I didn't know how to give myself a break! Even though being out of work for 3 months had it's challenges, it was nice to have some time to slow down.
Halfway through the quarantine, we suddenly decided to sell our house and move to California. Even though it was something we always wanted to do, I had absolutely no idea that this would be the year it happened. But it seemed like the time to do it. I was nervous, excited and a little bit heartbroken. I dreaded breaking the news to all of my clients. Once I was able to open back up, I had 2.5 months to make as much money as possible while saying goodbye to something I worked so hard to build.
Starting over in a new city was scary, but I kept reminding myself that everything would fall into place. I manifested that I would get a job working for , and it worked! (I still can't believe it lol)
So here I am, sitting on my couch experiencing my 2nd quarantine but in a different state. I'm not gonna lie, I've been feeling a little down the past couple of weeks. This is usually my busiest time of year so I feel very unproductive. I don't like the feeling of my career being on hold, but I'm trying my best to stay positive and to remind myself of how far I have come.
