Making the patches!! This has been a concept I’ve been sitting on for quite a while. So much so, I would get nervous when I saw other brands launches because I really do feel like once you have a concept and it’s in the universe, it might get acted on.
I began working on dark spot patches back in 2021/22. However, finding the right formula and something that was accessible for the brand continued to prove difficult. I wanted to make sure whatever we launched was not only effective, but actually meaningful to the space.
Earlier this year, I took another stab at trying to bring this to life with a new supplier and they delivered. Accessible, quick timelines and quality. With the success of our Honey Kojic Line, I knew I wanted these patches to live under that collection. However, we add a few more ingredients in (like Azelaic and Tranexamic Acids), so the Hyper-Fade felt appropriate.
Testing, testing, testing and we’re finally here. Not only are these patches so effective, but they’re fun. I’m really into what I keep calling the “accessorification” of beauty and I think we hit the nail on the head with these 🩷
