It sure seems like there are so many things to worry about these days. The news, social media, and even the stuff that comes in the mail. And because of all these stresses, we get caught up in it all and forget that we need to take some time out just for ourselves. Doing whatever it is that brings us joy and helps us to feel grounded again. I just got back from a quiet weekend away with my husband and when it was time to come home I did not want to. I thought home was supposed to be our quiet place. the place where we unwind and destress from our day. So I decided that I had let the stress of life get in the way of my happy place. I took back my happy place and started to spend time doing what I enjoy which is sewing in my sewing room. Taking time out to take care of me. So whether that's gardening, exercising, or coming to the salon. Creating some me time is so important to a happy life.

What are your favorite things about spring?
I have to say that I love how everything is fresh and new. How the plants get a new fresh start every year. The fruit trees come out of hibernation and put on new growth. They set blooms that are beautiful and fragrant. After the bees do their job, They grow their beautiful fruit for us to enjoy. What a Magnificent circle this is. Sometimes we just need to take a step back breathe deep and enjoy what nature has to offer. So let spring lift you up and take the time to take care of you. A fresh Haircut. Treat yourself and your hair to a deep conditioner, or maybe a new color. So you two can feel fresh and new.
