you know, cults are interesting. those who find themselves in a cult, even as intelligent as some are, cannot see or even consider that their blind allegiance to their leader, even though the leader may be able to mesmerize and con them into believing anything. everything has context and should be viewed in context, but not to a cult follower. cult followers cannot easily escape, because they generally have alerted all their friends and family of their intentions to continue, even after rational analysis reveals the presence of a cult and their worship of the cult and it's leader. it is a sad sight indeed, but breaking the bond is hard, real hard. you can only pity them and love them anyway, unless they allow you to help them find their way out, which unfortunately rarely happens because of ego and perceived loss of credibility.
