Who ever said going after that passion burning in your heart was going to he easy? The good news...

There is a difference in the agony of follow your heart's conviction and the agony of staying complacent because you're afraid of what's on the other side of your leap of faith.

The agony of following your conviction is always filled with hope and a sense of purpose and meaning. You feel the pain of the struggle that's naturally involved in the evolving of the journey, but there's an inexplicable urge that keeps you moving forward. You also feel a sense of accomplishment with each milestone completed.

The agony of complacency is stifling. It feels like death that you must escape. Those that stay in complacency find ways to numb the pain. Drugs and alcohol are usually faithful companions of complacency.

Thank you Dr. King for being a tangible example of following your dreams and conviction.

My greatest hope for you this morning is that you stop comparing yourself to other people. Their looks, possessions and personality are simply that, theirs. You and I have our own unique qualities and if you can just grab hold of this concept your life will never be ordinary, it will be extraordinary!

How many times have you looked at someone and wished you were them? You thought it would bring you some level of happiness, but as Prince said "I'm here to tell you, there's something else..." Start thinking, I am so grateful to be me. You were created to give the world your individual scent.

Instead of criticizing your nose, learn to love your nose. Instead of hating your body, learn to love and nurture what's been given to you. It is the sexiest attribute any person can possess and it's the greatest gift you can give to yourself and the people around your sphere of energy.

It's been a great first week back from the holidays! Sometimes it seems as though things are going to fast, but I won't judge things by my gauge, I am taking life as it comes and with a heart full of gratitude.

The holiday season is officially upon us and accordingly my hours of operation will reflect its arrival. I will be closed till 1/12/21 to attend to my other job. I will be taking special appointments only. Have a great holiday season and I will see you in the New Year!

Don't compromise, sometimes easier said than done. Especially when temptation is making what you really want look insignificant and inconvenient.

I recently compromised on something that I've wanted for a long time. Temptation made everything look nice, easy and fun, but my sincere desire never died. In fact, I stepped into the situation with every intention of changing it into what I had been dreaming.

This was an epic fail and I felt emptier than I had before making the choice to move forward in mediocrity.

Long story short, stick to you guns! You'll reap satisfying benefits, without feeling like you failed yourself.😘
