The salon will be closing December 17th and I plan to reopen January 6th. Sorry for in the inconvenience. I appreciate all my client's and their flexibility during this time. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and wonderful New Year's!

If you are wanting to get in before Christmas, please message or call soon. Only a few more spots available.

Week 3 back behind the chair!!!

I am booking appointments!!!

I am booked out a few weeks. I have reached out to everyone on my list. If I missed you I am SO sorry! Please message me ASAP.

With the new rules, I am having to space everyone out more for time to disinfect. I also will be limiting my appointments to Monday's and Thursdays only, at this time.

Here is the list of new mandated rules so you all know what to expect.

Salon rules:

- All client's must wear a masks at all times. Please have one with you. If you do not have one, let me know ahead of time. I will have a limited amount available for purchase.

- All client's will be given hand sanitizer immediately when entering.

- I will take your temp and document it.

- I will be having everyone sign a waiver. This pretty much states you are coming in at your own risk.

- Only one client available at a time. Unless you have a small child. One parent may come in with (one) child at a time.

- Please text me when you arrive. I will let you know when I am ready for you to enter.

- At this time, it has been suggested to not blow dry when possible. Unfortunately, I will not be able to blow dry and style after haircuts.

- I am long over due on increasing my prices. With the new mandatory rules, I have had to. Due to the cost of sanitation and other supplies.

- The only waxing allowed at this time is brow. No other facial allowed.

- PLEASE!!! If you are not feeling yourself, have possibly been exposed or have any symptoms, cancel your appointment.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. I am trying to get everyone in in a timely and safe manner.

I know you all are going crazy and wanting to get in ASAP. Most things are the same but we do have some new rules that have to be enforced. I'm going through those now and will continue to prepare.

And ......the salon got a makeover!!!!

I have no idea when salons will be allowed to open. I do know things will be much much different!

Even though we have always had strict rules regarding sanitation, mandatory continued education every 3 years, inspections without warning and questioned on exactly how we sanitize. This is going to be implemented even more, understandably so.

There will be additional supplies that are mandated for us to use by the state in order to reopen. What exactly it entails?? We are not sure yet. However, we have a pretty good idea and most of those items are not even accessable at this time for us to purchase.

In the meanwhile I, like many of my fellow stylist friends have already started to prepare in the areas we can. One being getting certified through Barbicide.

What is Barbicide?? It a specific sanitation concentrate for salons and barber shops. It kills everything! From HIV, Hepatitis, recently tested on The Corona Virus with success and much much more. The trick is....making sure you are mixing this correctly, using the proper forms of it appropriately and all different implements and surfaces are in contact with it for the appropriate amount of time needed.

I'm happy to show you all, I have prepared and completed what I can. This certification is not mandatory. However, I feel necessary for the safety of my client's and I.

It's unfortunate but....salon's fall under the same category as restaurants. As of today, our governor announced, all businesses to remain closed until further notice.

I know many of you will have some frustrating days or weeks ahead trying to deal with roots that need coloring and hair that's unruly. Please know I absolutely sympathize with you and so truly wish I could do something to help you. Unfortunately, my hands are tied. However...I am only a phone call or a text away from giving you a tip or two to try help you through this.
