My grandlittle is married! Going to an all-women’s college had so many advantages, including the chance to have “little sisters” - and I was lucky enough to get close to both my little Kailyn Rendigs and my grandlittle 🐼. So when Meg (aka Lil Meg) asked me to do her makeup, I was honored and so excited to be part of her day, not just as her artist but as a guest celebrating her marrying the man of her dreams. We’d already nailed down her look together at the preview, so the wedding morning was about being there for her, calming the nerves, and making sure she felt beautiful and comfortable every step of the way. My goal that morning was simple: get her ready to marry her person and make her look AND feel like her best self.
Watching her see herself for the first time (swipe for the reveal, happy tears included) is exactly why I love this job, and that I get to be a part of days like this with friends I’ve watched grow into the incredible women they are.

Skin has texture. Pores, lines from your face actually moving when you laugh and cry and smile, that stubborn blemish that came during your cycle-
that’s real skin doing real skin things. Traditional makeup can blur and even out, but it can’t remove texture.

My goal is never to erase what makes your skin yours. It’s to enhance it so it photographs beautifully in real light, holds up through hugs and dancing, and still looks like you when you look back at your photos in many years to come.
