Why should we eat organic bread? I never really thought about this until I read this week that there has been a surprising discovery lately when it comes to one of our country's staples:wheat. Why? The farmers often spray it on after the grain is harvested to keep pests away while the wheat is in storage. But this means that those pesticides are still hanging on when the wheat is milled into flour and baked into breads,cookies and more. Plus sandwich bread especially whole wheat use high fructose corn syrup as a sweetener. Play it safe and look for organic bread for your sandwiches and toast.

We all need to drink 8 to 10 bottles of water a day. Having a hard time remembering how many you have drunk? Put 8 to 10 rubber bands on your left arm. Remove them to your water bottle as you drink a bottle. How easy is that and a great visual reminder.

Do you need to loose weight? Follow along with me as I take off 60 pounds in the next year. So far I have lost 22 pounds and have another 60 to go! Green Juice

6 celery stalks
2-4 romaine leaves
4 kale leaves
1 apple cored
1 lemon, juiced remove peel
1 inch of ginger

Juice all together in juicer.
Low in Sugar and packed with nutrients!

GOAL: To create a body that runs through looking at current health and education. You are the expert on YOU!! Our bodies are very complex but nutrition is not. "The Smarter Science of Slim" by Jonathan Bailor

l. Take fish oil and a multi supplement.
2. Drink 60 to 100 Ounces of water per day. Our body is made up
of 65% of water.
3. Eat at least 5 servings of vegetables per day. (1 cup raw or 1/2
cup cooked) If you can't eat them try juicing them like I do!
4. Eat 15-2 grams of protein per eating opportunity (80 to
100 grams/day. One serving - 4 ounces, palm of your hand
5. Eat FATS - eliminate processed vegetable oils
FATS - olive oil, grass fed butter, coconut oil, avocado, cashews, coconut flakes, hazelnuts, almonds, olives, walnuts, ghee, fish oil FAT IS AN EXCELLENT SOURCE OF ENERGY AND WE WANT OUT BODIES TO BECOME FAT BURNERS, NOT SUGAR BURNERS!!
6. Replace your GRAINS with GREENS!
7. Eliminate processed foods - they cause pain and hormonal
unbalance.
8. ELIMINATE SUGAR - no nutritional value and it is highly
addictive. We can only have ONE TEASPOON of sugar floating in the blood stream at a time! All unused sugar will to to muscles, liver and then FAT stores!!!
9. Get 7-8 hours of SLEEP!


Don't be hard on your self!!! I chose one goal for 2 months until I had that habit changed - it wasn't easy. My first one was soda - and only drinking water or tea~~ This took 2 months to conquer and was very difficult to do - if I got a craving for the soda I would chew gum and have water with flavored drops put in it!!!!

After that I went on to eliminating all brad from my foods. Another difficult one but finally did it over two months. I had to start with first giving up sandwiches --- I put my chicken salad on lettuce and when I did have a craving I would allow myself to have a 100 calorie Fiber English Muffin! Now I am no longer having those, but if I have to have one I allow myself that and only that!!!

You can do this - baby steps, one step at a time!!!!!
